Minnie sweetly insults Hanuman’s cooking. He says he will learn soon, after all, he’s Patiala’s best chief’s assistant, permanent one. Babita tells him enough and asks to order food from outside. She goes to rest as she’s not feeling well. Minnie teases saying ‘attitude’. After Babita leaves, Hanuman tells Minnie that he thought a lot about her and Babita’s argument and he feels she’s right. If someone forgets most important person in life after 2nd marriage, then that’s not good. Minnie recalls Micky telling her to talk to Hanuman. She shows him letter for address proof and asks to read properly, they need passport to travel. He asks where she is going. She says nowhere, she just wants to keep everything ready as life is unpredictable.

He says there must be some plan. She says no it’s just like that. He signs the paper. She requests him not to tell to Babita. She will get panic for no reason. He feels something wrong.
Later on, he recalls his conversation with Minnie and is in thoughts. Babita asks he’s still not sleeping? He says he was just thinking something. She asks what? He says he feels scared that she might get upset if he asks. She asks him to talk clearly. He asks has she ever thought if Minnie goes away from them? He just thought like that. She says why he got even such thought. After marriage it’s okay, but right now she’s just a child. In morning, she was also talking like that. He says he wants them to live together, he was just asking like that. She says she won’t be able to live without Minnie. He shouldn’t have even thought anything like that. Everyone is already gossiping that she let Minnie go away from her after marriage. Minnie is her love, as well as responsibility. She doesn’t want anyone to question on their relation. She takes his promise that he won’t let Minnie go anywhere. He will love her so much that she doesn’t even think about going away. She always talks about career, but she can make career in Patiala too. There are so many opportunities. If Minnie goes away, then she won’t be able to live. She will also be guilty that they couldn’t give her family that kept her with them.

Minnie is sitting alone and recalling recent events. Naeem Bi waves at her, but she doesn’t see. Naeem Bi calls her and asks what she’s doing in balcony. Why she looks so tensed. Minnie is sitting in living room. Babita wishes everyone a happy Dhanteras. Lala suggests they should do some shopping today. Babita says she has already called a jeweler at home. She then hesitantly asks Hanuman for some money. Minnie looks shocked.
