Babita tells HS not to bother about Minnie’s talks about identity and surname as these look good in books. HS says he didn’t mind at all. Babita shyingly says she likes being called as Babita Singh as she feels she is completely his. HS turns to her and says she never used to speak like this before marriage. Babita says even he never used to shy like this before marriage and coughs while laughing. He asks why she is coughing. She says she got sore throat and will be fine with ginger tea. Saroj walks in and seeing their romance coughs. They both get alert. Saroj says she will come later if they want. HS walks away shyingly. Saroj applies nazar ka tika on Babita’s face and asks since she doesn’t have a saas/mother-in-lawwho is sending her sargi for karvachauth fast.

NB’s house, Biji informs NB how to prepare sargi. Dadaji walks in speaking to his friend over phone and telling that Minnie made him and Shammiji models. Biji asks if he started chatting with his friend early morning itself. Dadaji says their photos are printed in newspapers, she is famous now and should go out with goggles on. Biji shies. NB says she shouldn’t shy and enjoy fandom.
Preet tells Mickey that she will keep karvachauth fast for him. Minnie taunts them. Mickey says he doesn’t believe in keeping oneself hungry and she can enjoy other rituals though. Bobby jokes that he will also fast for Minnie. Minnie trashes him with paper roll while he continues taunting her.

Early morning at 4 a.m., HS senses Babita being restless, touches her and sees her having high fever. NB ring bell and walks in with sargi and asks HS to inform Babita that her saas has brought sargi. HS says she may not be able to fast as she is having fever. NB meets Babita and says she can skip fast if she wants. Babita says it is her first fast after marriage, so she will fast. In the afternoon, Saroj meets her and asks how will she manage with fever. She says she will somehow. Babita enters and seeing her having fever offers her tablets, but Babita denies saying she is fasting and cannot break rules. Minnie says her health is most important, but Babita gets adamant. Minnie leaves. Saroj says nowadays kids are uncontrollable. At NB’s house, Dadaji offers fruits to Biji saying she is having diabetes. Biji says she used to keep fast without having water/nirjala vrat, but now due to her illness, she is having relaxed fast with fruits. Minnie enters and asks if one can relax rules. Biji says yes. Minnie says Babita is having high fever, even then she wants to have nirjala vrat. Biji suggests her not to brother about all these. NB says it is Babita’s first fast after marriage and she will not listen to anyone, so Minnie shouldn’t bother. Minnie says they are right.
