HS asks Babita when Minnie had slept already why didn’t she return back. Babita says she wanted to speak to her in the morning, so she slept in Minnie’s room itself, but Minnie went to college early, so she couldn’t speak at all and will when she returns. HS says its okay if Minnie has problem. Babita says she has problem as she cannot sleep without Minnie. HS says now that they are married, there will be many secrets which they would like to share with each other as husband and wife, she should speak directly to him instead of hiding her problems behind Minnie, he was thinking that Minnie has problem, it is not fair for him and Babita and they should be open to each other. Minnie and Preet return from college. Minnie insists Preet to have coffee and give her missed lecture

notes. Preet says she needs to hurry home. Minnie insists her to have coffee aramse and takes notes from her. Preet says if she doesn’t do well at exam, her mother will not spare her, so she needs to rush home and study and even Minnie should return home as Babes would be worried for her. Minnie sees HS returning home on his bike and entering in and says Babes will not be worried at all as she is married now. She pulls Preet’s cheeks and jokes, and they both laugh.
HS freshens up after returning from work. Babita offers him water and jaggery and says she has prepared bhajia/fitters for him as he would he hungry. He excitedly praises her and asks to join him. She says she will have after Minnie returns and this time she is not hiding behind Minnie, she is worried for her as she has not returned and will call and check where she is. She calls Minnie, but Minnie messages that she is doing joint studies with Preet and will come late. HS returns changing his dress and asks her to serve food as he is hungry. Seeing her tensed asks if Minnie didn’t return home. Babita says yes, she just messaged that she is at Preet’s house doing joint studies and will come late. HS says then why she is tensed. Babita says Minnie never did this before, if she is having any problem, if HS and Minnie have any issues.. HS says no. She says she will go to Preet’s house. HS says why will she, he will go and check.

Minnie lying on Biji’s lap tries to study while Biji reads holy book. Dadaji asks Biji to read silently as Minne is studying. Minnie says she doesn’t mind and asks Biji to continue wiggling her fingers in her hair. Biji asks if she doesn’t want to go home, it is late. Minnie asks if she cannot spend time with her. Biji emotionally says lonely old age is very frightening, she feels alone without Lovely or Ashok and is feeling sad to live in a rented house on her daughter and son-in-law’s money. Minnie cheers her up. NB hears door knock and opens yelling in her usual style. HS walks in and asks if Minnie came here. NB says yes. HS asks what is she doing here. NB says he should say that. HS says he returned from police station and Babita informed that Minnie had gone for joint studies at Preet’s house, he went there and finding she is here came here now, Babita is tensed. NB says everyone can see Babita’s tears but not Minnie’s feelings, he should go and inform Babita not to worry as Minnie is with her grandparents. HS asks why is she with them. NB says they are Minnie’s grandparents, what problem he has. HS says after hearing what they did to Babita, he doesn’t respect them anymore. NB says even his mother suffered from his father and grandfather’s hands, but he never opposed his father and let his mother suffer instead. HS says how could he confront his father, he just cannot see Babita’s tears. NB says when he proudly says he is Hanuman Singh wald Dashrath Singh walkd Jarnail singh, doesn’t he remember his mother’s tears then; he should not complicate relationships so much and let them free.

HS returns home and informs Babita that Minnie is with grandparents. Babita worries that Dadaji and Biji may brainwash Minnie. Minnie returns. Babita asks where was she after her college finished in the afternoon. Minnie says she was busy studying and then went to meet Dada dadi who discussed about their daily routine, etc. and Biji even fed her pinniyan/laddoos. Babita says she would have prepared her pinni, she does not liker meeting Biji and Papaji. HS tells Minnie that she doesn’t do anything which her mummy doesn’t like, otherwise she is much intelligent to understand situation. Babita asks Minnie to come and have dinner and calls even HS.
