Mickey come to meet Minnie and says he came to talk about her and Babes. Minnie asks about what. He says he knows she is upset with Babes as she forgot her 18th birthday, she should forget it and forgive Babes. Minnie says she is hurt. Mickey says he knows and she should not let any differences between her and Minnie, she wants to see Babes happy and shouldn’t blame Babes and HS’ wedding as the reason. Minnie asks what is he talking about. Mickey says Babes is afraid that her wedding decision has not gone well with Minnie and she feels guilty, so she should assure that she is more happy and considers HS as her real father. Babita waiting for Minnie reminisces NB’s words that she should show more love and care to Minnie. Minnie walks in reminiscing Mickey’s words and

sees Babita waiting for her with her favorite cake and snackds. Babita emotionally apologizes and says she doesn’t know how she forgot her birthday. Minnie says problem is not that she forgot her birthday, problem is she still didn’t wish her yet. Babita emotionally hugs her and wishes her happy birthay. Minnie asks where is her favorite cake. Babita shows her cake and gifts her online bought anklet. They both celebrate birthday happily.
After sometime, Minnie returns home from outside happily and hears Babita and HS’ argument. Babita asks HS why didn’t he bring gift for Minnie. HS says he didn’t know it is her birthday. Babita says Minnie doesn’t need gift, but his love and assurance that she is important in his life and how much he loves her. She continues that when Minnie was small, she used to eagerly wait for postman to deliver Ashok’s gift, she expects her father’s love and gift. HS says so what, he would get gift tomorrow and should he prove repeatedly how much he loves her. Babita says Minnie has a lot of expectations from him. HS says Minnie has expectations from her mother also who forgot her birthday, what should he say regarding this. Babita asks if he is blaming her now. He asks what should he do now. Minnie sadly walks to her room and starts studying. HS walks in and wishes her happy birthday and apologizes for last night’s event. Minnie says its okay, he need not apologize. HS emotionally says he failed to be her father and hurt her and her mummy unintentionally and gets teary eyed. Minnie reminisces Mickey’s words that Babes will be happy when she sees father and daughter’s bondage between HS and Minnie. She walks to him and says she knows he is trying hard to prove himself with everyone’s expectations and he is the best; they are not getting the satisfaction they are hoping and some relationships are not frank, so it is going to be much more difficult. HS says she is talking big and wants she wants. Minnie says she is speaking what she is observing; his and Babes’ husband and wife relationship is defined after their wedding, but what about our relationship’s definition; she understands they are not biological father and daughter and are under immense pressure; he never asked permission to enter her room or guide her, now he did; in this relationship he and Babita have become kids, so let her do the honors; she doesn’t mind if they can be friends like before and he is still her guide and friend. He asks what about hero. She says even hero and heroes don’t cry; he married Babes and gave her happiness she deserved, so obviously yes; they are okay the way they are, he is her perfect HS and she is his perfect Veer Balika. He asks if she will be happy with this. She says yes, she didn’t get them married as she needs a father, she is 18 now; she accepts the fact that her father is Ashok Khurana and she can deal and survive with it. HS smiles and tries to leave. Minnie says she has an idea.
