Rajeev apologizes to Parineet. I was in a rush so I dint look well. He turns to go but then complements her. You look beautiful in the wedding dress. Parineet’s face lights up. Tejo asks her if she felt kuch kuch. Did your heart race? It may or may not have happened but your face clearly shows that you are in love with that guy (Rajeev). Is it true? God gives only one chance. Tell me if that’s true. I will help you. Everything is set. Only this guy has to sit in the mandap. Do you love him? Parineet nods. Tejo asks her what she wants to do then. Parineet says I must marry the one who has been chosen for me. I cannot cheat anyone. I am happy with whatever I have got. Mummy ji has never stopped me from dreaming. Some get fulfilled now and some get fulfilled later. Mine and my parents’ dreams are waiting. Parineet’s cousin comes to take Parineet.
Mandeep tells Harman that Parineet is going to elope with her lover. She is just like Neeti after all. He tells her to stop her nonsense. She isn’t like that. Do your work and let me do mine. He goes. She mumbles that he will face the consequence of ignoring her.
Nupur tells her mother that pundit uncle is here. Gurpreet corrects her that it is pundit ji. She goes. Nupur asks Beeji if it is wrong to call pundit ji pundit uncle. Beeji says your mother thinks that what she does is right. She tells her to bring Parineet here.
Parineet watches Rajeev as he tries to fix the flowers. Her cousin looks on. You should have received his alliance. Rajeev asks Monty to pass 3-4 garlands. Monty gives them to him. Parineet and her cousin are walking past them when a garland slips and lands around Parineet’s neck. Rajeev apologizes to Parineet. It was by mistake. It slipped from my hand. Monty asks Rajeev if he put varmala arou d another bride’s neck. Rajeev takes Monty form there. Parineet’s cousin tells Parineet that the varmala has happened already. Should I arrange your pheras as well? Parineet tells her to be quiet. I am going to marry Monty and not him. She keeps the garland aside.
Gurpreet and Parineet exchange a glance. Jaswant asks his wife why she is crying. Gurpreet says I am very happy to see Parineet dressed as the bride. These are tears of happiness. He falls for it and goes to do some work. Gurpreet notices Harman walking away in a huff. He doesn’t even stop when she calls out his name and wonders why both the men seem disturbed.
Beeji and Gurpreet ward off evil eyes off Parineet. Beeji tells the cousins to take Parineet back to her room. Bring her to the mandap when pundit ji will ask for her. The girls nod.
Sukhwinder becomes emotional when she notices Parineet dressed as the bride. She meets Gurpreet. My daughter eloped. Now I want to see how a mother feels when her daughter gets married. Gurpreet tells her wait for Neeti. She will surely be back and relations cannot be ended like that. Sukhwinder insists that Neeti can never return home anymore. Gurpreet tells her not to say so. Beeji advises them to focus on the wedding for now.
Mandeep decides to keep an eye on Rajeev. There should be no reason of messing this marriage this time. The guy is good this time.
Jaswant is on a call with someone. He later receives a call from someone and assures the person that he will bring the right papers to him as soon as he welcomes the baraat. Gurpreet asks him if everything is fine. He nods. Harman informs them that the baraat is here. Jaswant tells her to welcome the baraat nicely. She agrees.
Parineet’s cousin tells her sisters that the baraat is here. I have todl you already who I like though? Nupur asks her who she is referring to. Parineet’s cousin points at Rajeev. Rajeev and Monty are dancing downstairs. Nupur shares that she likes him too. They both speak well of Rajeev. They make Parineet look at Rajeev too. Mandeep looks up pointedly. Parineet tells them to stop talking about Rajeev and closes the window.
Jaswant welcomes the baraat. He asks Harman about someone. Jaswant tells Vikram to check on something. Gurinder meets Jaswant. She asks him how he said yes to Varun. He is a simple guy who isn’t even well educated. You could have found a better match for such a nice girl like Parineet. My son Rajeev would have been best for you. Jaswant thanks her for her concern. You are saying this as you think of us as your own. She nods. Mandeep notices them talking. Did Gurinder tell Jaswant about Parineet and Rajeev? Beeji says Jaswant is busy talking to Karamveer’s wife when the puja has begun. Mandeep asks her if she knows Gurinder. Beeji nods and tells her about Gurinder’s husband. She asks Mandeep to call him. Mandeep goes. Gurinder vows to make Jaswant realize about his mistake again and again. My son is best for your daughter after all!
Parineet asks her cousins to leave her alone. You have started joking again! They say that they are joking. Parineet tells them to joke or tlak about Varun instead as he is the one she is going to marry. They reply that he isn’t worth talking. Parineet tells them not to talk to her in that case. They look at her sadly. She apologizes to them and they hug. They apologize to Parineet as well and again admit that Rajeev is way better than Varun. Parineet is missing Neeti. I wish you were here on the most important day of my life. You would have understood me so well in that case. She notices her cousins laughing and asks them about it. Nupur says she is saying that Varun is way better than Rakesh. Parineet asks them to leave. They apologize to Parineet again. Parineet wonders what Rajeev must be thinking about her. I was going to get married to Rakesh earlier and now it is Varun!
Rakesh finds out about Parineet’s wedding and vows that it can never happen till the time he is around. Shera is reluctant to let him go inside. Rakesh is adamant though. I can at least look at the groom! Shera insists that MLA Sir has strictly advised him against it. Election is around the corner after all. Rakesh says I know it which is why I have gotten divorce already. Shera tells him not to go inside. There will be a big drama otherwise. Rakesh agrees not to go inside. He asks his friend to capture a picture of the guy who is going to marry Parineet. He is eager to see the groom.
Monty tells Rajeev he is sleepy and is off to home. Rajeev requests him to stay for some more time. I will come with you. Monty isn’t keen to stay. Rajeev asks for 15 minutes. We will surely leave then. Monty asks him when his 15 minutes will be over. Rajeev assures him that they will leave before that. Mandeep looks on. He is in a mood to elope with Parineet. Rajeev tells Monty that mummy will forgive them afterwards. Mandeep misunderstands it and decides to inform everyone.
Precap: Varmala starts. Monty tells Rajeev that this girl should have been his bride instead. Varun’s father asks Parineet to stop. Someone asks Monty what happened. Monty says the wedding has been called off. Parineet feels bad for her family and drinks phenyl in the bathroom. She passes out later.
