Parneet’s mother takes Parneet downstairs. Parneet has left her phone behind so Neeti is unable to reach her.

Neeti‘s mother asks her to come out and meet the guy. Neeti reasons that Parneet hasn’t seen the boy’s photo. Her mother reasons that Parneet will meet the guy who has been chosen for her first. You two can do this later. Everything is ready. You just have to serve the food now.

Parneet serves tea to everyone. Mandeep looks on. I will see how it feels when you don’t get the match of your choice.

Rajeev is eager to go but his cousin stops him. Kavita joins them just then. I got late as I had to take Varun and his parents to the girl’s family. Do you like Rajeev? Neeti’s family says yes. Rajeev tries to excuse himself but his cousin doesn’t let him leave. Neeti brings tea for everyone. Rajeev hasn’t looked up yet. She gives tea to Rajeev’s mother and then to Rajeev. Neeti thinks to spread the tea instead of giving it to the guy. He will never forget my name! She drops the tea and then ends up spilling the plate of jalebi on him. Rajeev smiles broadly while Neeti is irked to see him. Save me Waheguru! Rajeev’s cousins notice Rajeev smiling and are confused. Neeti’s Mama asks Rajeev if he is fine. Rajeev nods and calls him Mama ji. She is taken aback. They ask Neeti to take Rajeev inside. Help him clean up.

Neeti brings Rajeev to Vishal’s room and starts scolding him again. She then gives him a suit to change. He heads to the bathroom. She smiles thinking that he will look like a joker now. Neeti tries Parneet’s number but in vain. Rajeev comes out wearing that suit. Vishal comes to check on them. They both laugh as soon as they see Rajeev dressed as Charlie Chaplin. Vishal shares that I wore it in the fancy dress competition but I looked like a joker instead of Charlie Chaplin. Rajeev doesn’t mind the insults. He watches Neeti sweetly as she laughs. Vishal says you can handle her now as she wont stop laughing for a long time now. Everyone outside must be thinking that you guys are really hitting it off when they don’t know what circus is going on here. Stop her from going crazy and change as well. Come out soon, Jija ji. He leaves.

Rajeev continues looking at Neeti. Rajeev tells Neeti that the pant it tight and a little short. I will remove it. She turns away. Don’t you dare do it or I will shout! He says you are only fooling me. She is a little naughty but she is very sweet. He thanks God for giving her this chance of making him meet his dream girl. He tells her that he was joking and turns her around lightly. He asks her if she will marry him. Her eyes widen in shock.

Parneet’s father says yes for the wedding. Mandeep smiles. Parneet doesn’t like this boy but she dint have an option but to say yes. She gives sweets to everyone. God has turned the table and my revenge will be complete now! Both families decide to fix the wedding. Parneet thinks of Rajeev sadly. Why did you (Baba ji) make me meet him if we weren’t destined to be together?

Rajeev asks Neeti again. She tells him that it is wedding. Introduce yourself first. He tells her to go ahead and ask. She takes out her question paper. He is sure that they will click. We will surely be a great match. She asks him if he has so much overconfidence. He nods. It is because I like you. He starts answering her questions. He tries to be a little cheesy but she tells him to focus or she will reject him. He shares that he was studying architecture in Chandigarh but then came back for his mother’s sake. She asks him what he is doing to pursue his dreams now. Are you planning to go back to Chandigarh or Delhi after convincing your mother? He replies that it isn’t very easy to convince his mother. You have asked me enugh. Tell me about yourself now. She shares that she is modern and ambitious. I cannot be a traditional housewife so I want to go and live in the city. I want to be an airhostess. He says our likes and ambitions are similar. She disagrees. You left your course and dream behind for your mother while I cannot do that. He tells her she is mistaken. She says your answers told me that you are mumma’s boy. I want a boy who will take a stand for me and will be independent. Rajeev reasons that he can do it too. We can shift to Chandigarh or Delhi after marriage. You can fulfil your dreams then. She says I don’t think you will be able to fulfil my dreams for now. Fulfil your dreams first. Vishal interrupts them. Rajeev asks her to complete what she was saying. She suggests going outside. Everyone else can hear it as well.

Neeti’s mother tells Neeti that Parneet’s alliance has been fixed. Yours too will be fixed now. It will be double celebration. Rajeev’s mother tells Neeti that they like her. Let’s start the rituals. Neeti says no for Rajeev. Everyone is shocked. Neeti says it isn’t that he isn’t good looking or that there is any fault in him. He is a scared and dependent kind of guy. We don’t have anything similar. Neeti’s mother tries to stop her but Rajeev’s mother tells her to let Neeti speak. Neeti says they should know the reason. She tells Rajeev’s mother to give some freedom to Rajeev. He has a right to live life his way as well. Rajeev tells her not to say anything. Neeti asks him why he is so afraid of his mother. Rajeev’s mother asks Neeti if this is what she thinks. Neeti nods. Rajeev’s mother leaves with her family. Rajeev glances at Neeti unhappily as he leaves. Neeti’s mother asks Neeti what she has done. Neeti heads to her room.

Varun’s father tells Parneet’s family that Varun is going to Dubai after 2 weeks. We thought that we should get them married before that. Both of them can go to Dubai together. They can enjoy their honeymoon there. Varun’s mother adds that they have already chosen a mahurat for the wedding before coming here. We can have the wedding in 2 days if you don’t mind. Mandeep says yes. We can do it tomorrow also. Beeji reasons that the mahurat if for day after tomorrow. Jaswant asks Harman who says yes for the wedding. Jaswant tells his brother to bring the gold coin. Varun’s mother does Parneet’s aarti. She gives gifts and commences roka. Parneet is ours now. Gunpreet does Varun’s aarti and blesses the couple. She gives the gold coin to Varun as shagun. Everyone congratulates each other. They head to the dining table.

Gurpreet asks Parneet if she is happy. Parneet nods. Gurpreet goes as her husband calls her. Parneet wonders why she isn’t happy even when her dream is coming true. What’s my dream? Who is my dream? Rajeev stops his car outside Parneet’s house at the red light. He notices Parneet from the window. His cousin tells him to drive as the signal has turned green. Rajeev complies.

Rajeev’s mother tells Kavita to tell Neeti and her family that none of them like Neeti or her family. We will never say yes to them every in their dreams. She ends the call angrily. Kavita thinks that Gurinder has become too haughty since Parneet’s family has rejected Rajeev.

Neeti peeks at Parneet from the window. She signals Parneet to come aside quietly when Parneet looks up.

Parneet’s cousin tells Parneet that she dint like Varun. She runs out. Parneet tells Neeti that her wedding has been fixed. Neeti nods. Parneet asks her to meet him once. Your approval is important. Neeti tells her it isn’t needed when her parents have selected him already. I wont be in your wedding though as I am running away tonight. Parneet asks her if she has gone crazy. Neeti closes the door. Mummy has hit me! Parneet asks her why she did that. Neeti says I might have said something that I shouldn’t have.

Flashback shows Neeti telling her mother that she doesn’t want to get married. I will run away if you bring another alliance for me! Her mother slaps her. mama ji intervenes. Neeti is a kid. Her mother says I was pregnant at her age. I can bring her on the right path if she will talk like this. I will get her married to the guy of my choice. I wont even let her see his face before marriage. She warns Neeti not to step out of the house. Flashback ends.

Neeti tells Parneet she only has her Papa’s dream since he died. I will fulfil his dream of me becoming an airhostess. He was a pilot and this is what he wanted for me. Flashback shows Neeti’s father telling Neeti to become an airhostess as she loves to serve tea to everyone. Little Neeti says I am a girl who is bound to get married. He tells her to get married after fulfilling her dreams. Flashback ends. Neeti says I cannot let Papa’s dreams go down the drain. Hence, I have decided to leave the village tonight only!
