Scene 1
Pami asks Pari to make tea for her, Neeti offers to make it but she says I want Pari to make it, Pari nods and leaves. Gurvindar asks Neeti to make tea for her. Sanju goes to Pari and asks her to find his shirt. Gurvindar says Pari is making tea so Neeti can help you. Sanju says Neeti can give tea so he takes Pari from there. Neeti tells Gurvindar to not be that obvious.
Sanju tells Pari that Gurvindar seems to like Neeti, she says she takes me as my daughter, don’t doubt her. She does want the best for you so don’t worry. She has a reason for marrying you with Neeti. Sanju says fine, he asks her to give his wallet. She gives it and he pulls her closer. Gurvindar brings a tailor there and asks him to take his measurements for a sherwani. Pari is hurt and runs from there.
Pari cries and says Neeti is giving me a baby but why don’t I feel happy? Sanju said he would never leave me so why do I feel like I am losing everything? why am I in this much pain?
In the engagement ceremony, Pami tells Chandrika to put up a strong face, they have to do this.
Tayaji comes to Sanju and asks what happened? Sanju says we are so helpless in front of society standards, maybe we can go somewhere else? Gurvindar tells him stop thinking all this, you are doing all this for your mother’s happiness.
Pari brings Neeti to Sanju for the engagement, Sanju sadly looks at her. The neighbour’s girl sees Pari and recalls how she had seen Neeti throwing Pari in the well. She says it out loud. Pari hears that and looks around. Bebe hears that, she drags her from there.
Bebe talks the girl and says we have to hide here as we are playing a game. The girl says I need to talk to my mom, Neeti threw Pari in the well, I saw it myself. Bebe says I can bring your mother here, you will win if you remain hidden here and I will give you a gift. The girl nods and Bebe locks her in the room.
Pari is looking for a girl, Sanju comes there and asks what happened? She says I heard some girl was talking about someone pushing someone in the well. I got scared. Sanju hugs her as she starts crying. She says I wish I had been more careful and didn’t fall in the well. I lost my baby and you never complained, you are so nice that you never blamed me and even agreed to marry Neeti because of me. I am really sorry, I took all rights from you. Sanju kisses her forehead.
The girl’s mother is looking for her little girl Neha and can’t find her.
Sanju tells Pari that we never got properly engaged so lets engaged today. Pari says this is wrong, you are going to marry Neeti. Sanju says I only love you, I am marrying her because of society only. Pari says we don’t have a ring though? Sanju makes a makeshift ring with a wire and sits on his knees, he makes Pari wear it and kisses her hand.
The girl’s mother asks Bebe if she saw Neha? Bebe sends her to another direction. Gurvindar is dancing with the family. Bebe brings Neeti aside and tells her about Neha seeing her throwing Pari in the well.
