Parineet asks Rajeev what he means. He explains that he was on his way to do something important when he met her for the first time. I forgot everything after meeting you though. I kept thinking about you only and came back to help. You are so inspirational that even the one who is at the brink of death would want to come back to life. I felt something similar when Shera and Jai were trying to kill me earlier. You are the reason I remained alive and came back. You were with me even when you weren’t. She is touched by his words. They share an eye lock. Rajeev coughs. She uses her dupatta to blow away the smoke and then covers his face with it. He looks at her. She asks him if he is feeling better. He nods. Rakesh is also in the kitchen now. He finally notices them and hits the cupboard angrily. I have been looking for you guys. Come out. This place isn’t safe. Parineet recalls seeing him lighting the match. Rakesh asks them to come out. Parineet tells him he doesn’t have to save them. We are fine. You can leave. She tells Rajeev that Rakesh is responsible for this fire. Rakesh admits doing it. I know I am a bad person but let me do the right thing for the last time. I want to save both of you. Come out. Rajeev assures Parineet that he is with her. Rakesh cannot harm you. Plus, he knows it well. He holds Parineet’s hand and covers her with the sack. You will be safe this way. Rakesh asks them to come. Rajeev walks out with Parineet. Rakesh picks up a knife.

Shera agrees not to lie. I did try to kill Rajeev but it was Rakesh’s order. I couldn’t ignore it. Rakesh is still here. He is adamant on killing Rajeev. Save me. I will help you save Rajeev. I have a family. Please save me. Vikram breaks open the door and gets Shera out. Shera thanks him for saving his life.

Rajeev’s sister asks hr mother when this fire will be doused. Gurinder says fire brigade will be here soon. I hope Rajeev and Parineet come out soon. Monty tells her that they will be fine. She reasons that she is a mother. I know they will be fine but I cannot help myself. He tells her to have faith in Waheguru. Fire brigade arrives just then.

Rajeev keeps pushing things out of Parineet’s way. She tells him to be careful.

Simar wants to help too. Nupur tells her to be careful. Simar nods and goes inside. Nupur prays to God for Rajeev and Parineet’s well being.

Rakesh takes the lead in pushing things out of Rajeev and Parineet’s way but she doesn’t tell him anything out of concern. He tells them to go ahead. They walk away. Rakesh fumes.

Jaswant and Harman are worried for the kids. Mandeep overhears their convo and lies to them that Beeji is calling them.

Rakesh tells Parineet to wait here. Rajeev and I will clear the way ahead. He asks Rajeev to come. Rajeev holds the mandap truss just in time. Parineet holds him out of fear and looks at him emotionally. Rakesh fumes. Parineet tells him to be careful. He pushes it away. Are you fine? She nods. He keeps the sack around her again. I told you that nothing will go wrong now! She cries looking at his hand. He assures her that he is fine. Rakesh asks them if they know each other from before. Since when do you know each other? It seems like pretty old. Is it love at first sight or something? Parineet thinks of her first meeting with Rajeev. Rajeev tells Rakesh it is true. It was love at first sight for him. I am doing this for her only as I love her a lot. I can do anything for her. My blood boils when someone thinks of her or looks at her. Pari is only mine! I wont let anyone come between us. She steps aside feeling startled as something falls. Shall we? Rajeev and Parineet walk away. Rakesh looks at the knife pointedly.

Rajeev supports Parineet. Are you fine? She replies that the smoke is too much. I cannot see anything. He assures her that he wont let anything happen to her. Rakesh notices something.

Mandeep asks her husband if he wants to die. He replies angrily but she warns him not to act foolishly like Parineet and Rajeev. Don’t you dare go inside! He warns her to get out of his sight. Parineet and Simar are like my daughters only. Go away or I will burn you in this fire!

Someone collides with Rajeev when he is on his way out with Parineet. He is pushed back in the process. Rakesh covers his mouth from behind and drags him inside.

Parineet meets her family outside. Gurinder asks about Rajeev. Parineet says he was with me but I cannot see him. Is he stuck inside?

Rakesh brings Rajeev in a room. Did you think my heart has melted and I will let you be with Parineet? He hits him. I am not a noble man like you. Parineet is mine and will always be mine! He is about to stab Rajeev but Rajeev holds his hand, twists it and hits him. I know you very well which is why I sent Parineet outside safely. You wanted to kill me by taking advantage of this fire and want to pretend to be Parineet’s saviour in front of everyone later but it is you who will die in this fire! They start fighting. Rakesh hits him on the head with a vase. Rajeev falls down. Rakesh locks him in the room to die. Rajeev looks on in shock.

Gurpreet tells Gurinder not to worry. Rajeev will be fine. Gurinder says I am feeling restless. Fire brigade team asks everyone to step aside. Parineet and Gurinder are reluctant but the team continues to insist. Everyone is asked to move to a nearby hall. Nupur asks Parineet to come but she runs back inside to find Rajeev. All the family members shout after her but in vain.

Rakesh wonders if he should check on Rajeev again. What if he survives? He peeks inside the room and finds Rajeev lying helplessly on the floor. Rajeev passes out. Rakesh bids him adieu and leaves.

Parineet shouts Rajeev’s name as soon as she is inside.

Rakesh is happy thinking that no one can harm him now. He comes face to face with Vikram and Shera just then and stops in his tracks. Rakesh asks Shera what he is doing with Vikram. Vikram holds him by his collar. What have you done to Parineet and Rajeev? They hear Parineet calling Rajeev’s name. Vikram asks her to leave but she shouts thatRajeev is with Rakesh. Vikram tells her that Rakesh is with him. Rakesh and Shera use this opportunity to lock Vikram.

Parineet continues looking for Rajeev.

Rakesh runs away. Vikram asks Shera to open the door. Shera tells Vikram he saved him but now he will become the roasted chicken. He leaves.

Parineet finds Rajeev lying unconscious in a room. She notices the lock and hurts herself too. She keeps shouting at him to wake up. The fire is spreading!

Precap: Parineet uses a vase to break open the door. Rakesh tells Shera his master plan. I have left Rajeev inside to die. Now Parineet will get henna of my name on her hand. Parineet keeps Rajeev’s head in her lap. She passes out sometime later. Fire brigade team save Vikram. They find Parineet and Rajeev passed out in the room and take them away on stretchers.
