Scene 1
Neeti tells the family that there is one problem.. Shelly’s name sounds girlish. Shelly says my real name is Shankar, you can call me anything you want. The family congratulates them but Pari is stressed.
Gurvindar and Chandrika come to Pari. Gurvindar says you said Neeti will say no but she said yes. Bebe comes there and says she is playing with Neeti’s life because of her doubts. Pami says I am settling her down, Shelly is a good man and I am just worried that she might be using him. Sanju works for his uncle so I just hope she isn’t playing with Shelly.
Pari comes to Neeti and thinks she wants the right decisions for Neeti. Neeti asks what happened? Pari asks if she is happy with this marriage? do you like Shelly enough to marry him? Neeti says yes. we are the same and our habits match as well. Pari says marriage is not just about habits. Neeti says I always wanted a guy like Shelly, he approached me and was persistent. She says what if you had found Shelly instead of Sanju? Sanju comes there and says really? Neeti says you are best for Pari, she leaves from there. Sanju smiles at Pari.
Shelly calls Neeti and says I have to say something. Neeti says what? he says you are very cute. Neeti says I am sleepy. Shelly asks if she can do an engagement tomorrow? I don’t want to take any chances and finalize everything fast. Neeti says you are fast, ask Mehra to talk to the family. Neeti ends the call and leaves. Pami hears all that and says its difficult to read her.
Pari tells Sanju that Neeti seems really happy with Shelly. I am happy that she will be near us after the marriage. Sanju holds her and says your tears are of happiness so its fine, your happiness is my happiness. Pari hugs him and says lets go. He stops her and says can we stay for a little bit more? Pari hugs him tightly and smiles.
Pami comes to her room and Mehra calls Tayaji. Mehra says we wanted to do the engagement tomorrow as its a good time. Pami says we should talk to Neeti first. Shelly says I did and she agreed. Pami says then we have no issues. Mehra thanks them and ends the call. Pami says we will do arrangements tomorrow.
In the morning, Neeti tells Pari that she has so many clothes here like its my inlaws house instead of yours. Pari says we will go shopping and find new clothes for your engagement. Neeti says okay.
Pari tells Sanju that she has to go for shopping and tells Sanju that her clothes are not fitting her anymore. Sanju says you have become fat.. Pari says I am pregnant. He says I am sorry, he says I will get your clothes altered. Pari says I will take them to the market. Sanju says we all three can go together.
Sanju, Neeti and Pari are leaving. Pami and Chandrika see them leaving. Neeti asks Pami if she likes Shelly? Pami says yes.
Pami and Chandrika come to the storeroom, Pami asks her to bring a stool, she goes to get it. Pami finds an old box there and finds Pari and Neeti’s torn photos there, she is shocked.
