A lady is doing puja. everyone is going about their business as usual. Chacha ji asks for key. A girl runs to bring it when her mother tells her to take aarti. The girl runs to bring the key and keeps helping everyone. Pari’s mother asks for 2 more hands so she can help everyone. Pari gives key to Chacha ji and gives kadha to Chachi. Her sister takes her dupatta. It will look great with my dress. Thank you! Pari tells her to take whatever she wants. You don’t need to thank me. Her other sister / cousin joins them. Pari’s father winces in pain. Pari looks after him while scolding him for not being careful. She is about to touch his feet but he stops her. Daughters don’t touch feet. Pari says at least doctors do. Her mother tells her if she won’t stop talking. Her husband tells her to let her be. She is concerned about me right now. He scolds everyone for calling Parneet Pari. They say that they have gotten used to it as Neeti calls her Pari. Parneet realises that Neeti will kill her if she won’t be ready on time.
Scene shifts on Neeti. She is riding her scooty. A lady was almost about to get hurt and tells Neeti to be careful. 2 boys ask Neeti to kill them instead. One of them step forward and introduces himself. He freaks out when she heads in his direction in full speed. She asks him if he has come to his senses. I will surely hit you next time if you won’t stop these antics. She drives away.
Parneet’s father asks about Vikram. He is told that he isn’t at home. Beeji is playing video game in Vikram’s room as he isn’t around. Parneet’s father asks Vikram’s father to tell Vikram to be at home sometimes. He is so spoiled. Beeji joins them for breakfast. Vikram’s father says Vikram was the first kid of the family. He has been too spoiled as Parneet was born few years later. We can let Parneet go to college on her own. Parneet’s father disagrees. A girl is like an open tijori. She shouldn’t get out of the house alone.
Neeti reaches there and makes Parneet wear her white dupatta again. She asks Parneet to hurry up. Parneet’s mother refuses to let the girls go alone. Parneet’s father tries to get up but the sprain in his feet does not let him stand. Neeti requests him and he is convinced. He tells the girls to go straight to the college. Don’t look around too much. Neeti nods. I don’t even look straight sometimes. Parneet stops her. Neeti takes Parneet outside and shows her new scooty. She gives helmet to Parneet. Parneet says why do I feel as if you only have sent Veer ji somewhere so we can go without him. Neeti admits that it is true. He only has 6 packs. His brain is empty. Parneet tells her not to say so about her brother. Where have you sent him today? Neeti assures her that she has sent him where he will be able to utilize his 6 packs.
Vikram picks up heavy boxes and rings the doorbell. It is Neeti’s house. Mami ji says I asked Neeti to send 3-4 people to bring everything in but she got you stuck here. Neeti’s brother murmurs that Vikram will anyways never say no to Neeti Didi. Vikram tells him to help him instead of just babbling.
Someone snatches the chain from Parneet’s neck as Neeti stops the scooty. Neeti beats the guys black and blue. Parneet looks on helplessly. She asks Neeti to let go of them. A jeep stops near Parneet. One of the guys step down from the jeep. He tries to touch her but she moves away. He asks her what happened. She says nothing. He offers his kerchief to her. She is reluctant but he keeps it in her hand. He looks at Neeti. We will meet soon. He asks Parneet her name. Parneet ends up telling him her name when he asks her forcibly the next time. Neeti comes back to Parneet just when the jeep drives away. Neeti tells Parneet no one can hurt her till the time she is with her. Who was that loafer? Parneet gets a little tensed. They head to gurudwara.
Parneet and Neeti reach college after paying respect in gurudwara. They check their results. Parneet is thrilled as well as shocked that she has topped. She excitedly tells Shalu about her marks. My project wasn’t good but I wonder how this happened. Someone must have gotten my marks instead. Shalu tells her that it was Parneet who gave her project in her place. She scored the low marks that you would have gotten. Flashback shows Parneet swapping the project files so Neeti can score more. Neeti asks Parneet why she did this. You would have been expelled if this was caught. Weren’t you afraid? Parneet nods. I know you have big dreams. You wan tto leave this village and become an air hostess. I want you to fulfill your dreams. I don’t have big dreams. I want a simple life like my Mummy ji. It is you who is ambitious. Neeti says you want a house, husband and family. Parneet adds that she wants her as well. Neeti hugs her. I will get you married to my brother-in-law so we are together. I will not marry anyone who doesn’t have a younger brother. Shalu jokes that she should get her married to her husband only if she is not able to find such a groom. They both tell her not to say it again. Shalu realizes it and agrees.
Parneet’s mother is trying to convince her husband to allow Parneet to go in Shalu’s function.
Neeti receives a text just then. Parneet has gotten permission to attend the function. Parneet heads to the locker room to get something. She notices the same guy in the locker room and hides for a few seconds. She tries to leave quietly but he turns just then and they collide. He tries to make a pass on her but she runs outside. He follows her outside. Neeti is cleaning her scooty. The guy sits on his bike and watches them. He tells his friends not to even look at Parneet. She is your Bhabhi. His friends tell him that she is Vikram’s sister. He has been here since 5 years. He rules the college. She is very conservative. Plus, her father is the leader. The guy is still adamant. Hope she comes in the function tonight. Her and my life will be set then!
Parneet’s father tells Parneet to be careful. Make sure our family isn’t embarrassed over anything. Parneet nods. He tells Vikram to take Parneet to Shalu’s place. He agrees and they leave for Shalu’s place.
Everyone is having a great time at Shalu’s function. Vikram notices Neeti dancing and smiles. Neeti hugs Parneet. We will have a lot of fun! She tells Vikram not to worry about Parneet now as she is with her. She takes Parneet with her. Vikram and the guy walk past each other.
Shalu shows her mehendi to Parneet but Neeti asks her to dance with her first. Parneet says Bau ji told me not to do anything because of which our family will have to look down. Neeti pulls her for dance nonetheless. The guy notices Parneet and watches her curiously. Parneet recalls the morning incident and gets tensed upon noticing him. Shalu’s parents ask Parneet to come and eat with them. The guy (Rakesh) joins them. He introduces Rakesh to Shalu. Shalu introduces Parneet to him. Rakesh talks strangely with Parneet. Parneet touches Shalu’s shoulder and Shalu looks at Rakesh. Shalu’s father takes Rakesh with him. Shalu tries to ask Parneet if she knows Rakesh but Neeti interrupts the convo just then.
Rakesh joins everyone on the dance floor and pulls Parneet around. He tries to dance with her but she pushes him. She drinks water. Rakesh is still watching her. He signals his friends to mix something in the cold drink. They comply. Rakesh thinks that Parneet wont escape today. She has made the biggest mistake of her life by coming here today. She will regret it!
Precap: Rakesh’s friends tell Rakesh to think again. You shouldn’t mess with her. Rakesh is adamant. Parneet heads to a room. Rakesh follows her. Vikram beats Rakesh upon finding Rakesh in the same room as Parneet. Parneet collides with a guy on her way out and their lockets get stuck. They steal a glance at each other as he tries to free the lockets. Rakesh is in a hospital. He vows to get back at Parneet by marrying her.
