Parichay 6th August 2012 Written Update

To Avoid confusion between 3 Anands I’ll be using the following names in my update:
Kunal Brother-Anand Chopra
Anand with Kunal-Bada Anand
Anand with Siddhi-Chota Anand

Episode starts with EK’s favorite Siddhi Vinayak temple.Ganesh idol,Shivji,Durga maa,Lord Balaji are shown with Vakratunda Mahakaaya and Gayathri mantra chantings in the back ground.

Kunal is shown(Gayatri mantra in BG) entering into a godown,one of the guards stop him but he goes in without listening.Some fighting match is going on n people cheer for some guy Tommy who is winning.Kunal keenly observes that guy.When its announced that if anyone can fight with Tommy n win over him,Kunal removes his shirt..in Black T shirt.His agent asks the reason for removing the shirt,Kunal says its not a swimming pool to think that he’s going for swimming removing shirt.Agent says that Tommy won 3 matches n is very confident n advises Kunal not to fight with Tommy.Kunal says that he won’t win as Tommy is fighting for money but he’s fighting for his son.Agent advises Kunal not to put his life in danger by fighting with Tommy.Kunal says that his son is his life n he can face any danger for his son n asks the agent to get his name announced.

CHOPRA’S HOUSE(Same old house)

Veena comes into living room calling Seema.Bada Anand with specs(Kunal’s son) is shown…He’s cooking halwa.Veena(same pre-leap look) sees him n asks with big smile if he’s making halwa.He smilingly says yes.Veena goes to Seema for scolding her as she’s making the kid work.Anand tries to say that he’s doing it all by himself n Seema didn’t tell him but Veena doesn’t listen.

Seema(Same look) comes to kitchen n lovingly scolds him for making her scapegoat for Veena’s scoldings early in the morning n asks him from where did he learn to make halwa.Anand replies that he learnt it from a cookery show n it’ll be very delicious n everyone will like it,especially his papa.He asks her to taste it n tell how it is.Seema lovingly pulls his cheeks n says that if he wanted to eat halwa he could have asked her instead of making it all alone.Anand says that even she does all the work alone n doesn’t take his help then why should he take her help.Seema says that she knows that he has grown up n started talking like adults n asks him to let her taste his halwa.

Anand goes to get spoon from cupboard,Seema asks whats the need to keep spoon in cupboard.He says that he washed the spoons n kept inside.Seema pulls his ear n scolds him for doing all the cleaning on his b’day.Anand says ‘Arey chachi yeh mere kaan hai koi chamach nahi hai’,Seema leaves his ear.Anand says that it doesn’t matter who does the work coz they all belong to same family n also dadi says that as age increases,responsibilities increase.Seema says he has not yet turned into 9yrs n he’s talking like adults n asks him to taste the halwa first as he has made it.He asks Seema why isn’t she tasting it first to which she says that even if he didn’t make it tastily,for her it will be world’s best halwa.Anand keeps the halwa like a cake n cuts it,Seema sings Happy Birthday song for him n feeds him but he tries to feed her.Veena calls Seema n she goes.Anand about to eat the halwa but stops n says to himself that he’ll enjoy it even more if he eats it with his papa n goes to bring him home.

FIGHTING AREA

Kunal enters into the ring.Bettings going on.Kunal gets punched by Tommy repeatedly n starts bleeding.

Anand in rain n holding halwa plate,searching for Kunal n asking neighbours about his papa.

Kunal asks his agent about the betting,he says 1-8 n he has 1000Rs n if Kunal wins they’ll get 8000Rs,out of which they’ll share 4000Rs each.Kunal says 6000Rs each n asks him to tell him when betting reaches 1-12.He gets punched again by Tommy n falls down, his agent signals Kunal n he gets up n beats Tommy n wins.His agent praises him n gives him 7000Rs as they won 14000Rs b’coz of increased betting in last round.Kunal takes only 6000Rs n asks his agent to take 500Rs n the spend remaining 500Rs for Tommy’s treatment.

Anand still searching for Kunal,he finds his friends on the way.They tell him that Kunal is fighting behind garage n bettings are going on for those who win.Anand worriedly runs towards that place.

Kunal and the agent going on road.Tommy’s goons stop them n asks them to give back the money as they cheated them by intentionally losing in the early rounds so that the bettings increase,once they increased agent signaled Kunal n he started fighting back n won it.They start beating Kunal n the agent.***Kunal gives gift to his son n asks him o open it,Anand opens it n is very happy seeing the gift n hugs Kunal ***Kunal tells them if its one Tommy or 4,he knows how to deal with them,they can try n see if they can take the money or not.They start fighting again,one of the goon takes a log n starts beating a fallen Kunal.

Bada Anand sees this n he tries to stop them by coming in btw.***Flashbacks of 1st epi where Anand Chopra protects Kunal from police are shown.***Bada Anand starts beating the goons with stick.Kunal gets up n stops goons n warns them not to beat the kid.Flashes of Kunal-Anand Chopra protecting each other are shown along with Kunal n his son protecting each other from goons.Their leader says that they’ll keep beating Kunal until he returns their money.Bada Anand takes the money from Kunal n gives it to the goon n begs him to leave his papa.The goons go away.

Bada Anand goes to Kunal n asks if he’s okay.Kunal scolds him for not going home.He helps Kunal to get up n takes him home.On reaching home Kunal asks Bada Anand if he’s going to tell everything at home,he says he won’t say anything.Kunal tells him that he’ll say that some guys were troubling Bada Anand n he saved him by fighting with them.Bada Anand agrees.***Kunal gets flashes of Anand Chopra(1st epi) where he says the same to his brother after getting beaten by police***.Kunal hugs Bada Anand n caresses his hair.Bada Anand asks what happened.Kunal says nothing n tells him that they won’t lie.

Anand advises that they’ll go through back door so that nobody notices them n they’ll be saved from lying.Kunal appreciates him ‘wah mera Munnabhai,kya dimag paya hai.Papa pe gaya hai kya’ n asks him to give a fi to him.

PRISON

Siddhi in prison.Jail warden comes n gives her a saree sent by Sulekhaji.She says that just like Sulekhaji she too is going to be released early b’coz of her good behavior n now she too can go to outside world.Siddhi says that her world revolves around her husband n kid n rest of the world doesn’t matter to her.She is not alone as memories of her hubby n kid kept her alive all these years.She hopes that everything must have happened as per her wish n tells warden that its her sons b’day n he must have grown up.

KUNAL’S ROOM

Anand dressing Kunal’s wounds.Kunal says that he seems to be his dad n not his son. Anand asks him if he’s boxer/marshall arts champion n whats the necessity to fight.Kunal says that even his mom doesn’t scold him so much. Anand tells Kunal to see himself in mirror n not even a kid does like that,It’s his b’day n he’s doing all this,he gets doubt n asks Kunal if he has done all this to buy gift for him.Kunal denies saying that since childhood he’s interested in fights as body becomes strong.

Gaurav comes in n says that Raj wants to talk to Kunal.Raj scolds Kunal for drinking,gambling n fighting.Anand tells his dadu that Kunal did this to buy gift for him.Veena tells Raj that Kunal’s intentions can never be wrong n he always does good to others.She asks Raj not to scold Kunal coz whatever state he’s in today is b’coz of the person who cheated him…Kunal asks her to stop her routine story n says he’s hungry.Gaurav starts cribbing about Kunal.Anand sides Kunal.He serves halwa to all.Kunal eats it n feeds to Anand n appreciates him for making it tastily.

Richa comes with gift to Anand n gives it to him.He looks at Kunal who dis interestingly nods his head n goes to his room.Anand denies the gift saying that he won’t take anything without his dad’s permission.Richa goes to Kunal to convince him.

Kunal asks Richa if she has come to point out that he isn’t a good dad n doesn’t take care of Anand or if she has come to show her support for him.Its only b’coz of the favor she did by saving him in Rohit’s case n his kid that he’s allowing her to come to his house n warns her not to think that he loves her n will marry her,she can find a place in his house but can never in his heart.

She goes n sits besides him saying that atleast she can try doing it.Kunal goes away from there.She goes behind him n says that she may or may not have place in his life but Anand has special place in her life n he can’t take away her right.Kunal asks her the reason for doing all this as she very well knows that there is nothing btw them n there’ll never be anything btw them.She requests him to allow her to celebrate Anand’s b’day atleast for Anand’s happiness.He gives him the money which he won in the fight as she got the goons arrested with the help of her dad.Kunal asks her to use the money to celebrate Anand’s b’day.Veena eavesdropping…happily smiling at Richa.

Richa gives gift to Anand n says that Kunal gave permission.Anand happily takes it.Richa asks him to call her MUMMY atleast on that day.Anand’s smile fades away.Kunal:’kassh isska asal maa aaj yaha hote’…Siddhi is shown comes out of jail.
