Parichay 23rd August 2012 Written Update

Scene 1:
Location:Sulekhaji’s house
On abhay’s insitence when anand comes across siddhi he reacts awkwardly,siddhi asks him to go to a play with her but he refuses saying that he already has plans with his friends for a movie.Wen siddhi wishes to come along,he dismisses him saying that she doesnt want to be humiliated in front of his friends and that he’s going out with his friends and not family,so cannot take siddhi with her and walks off..

Scene 2:
Location:Chopra house
Anokhi and ishani are fighting over whether one should study or the other should hear music to which kunal solves their problem by giving anokhi the headphones,so that ishani can study and she can hear music at the same time.When anokhi praises knal for his genius gaurav retorts saying that he is genius in everything except for solving his life’s problems and is silenced by seema who’s concerned about kunal.Just then some reporters walk in trying to take anand’s interview for having passed the audition.Everybody is excited,but when kunal is asked fr his reaction he calls anand and takes him inside the room away from the reporters.Evrybody is shockes.Inside kunal asks him,what does he want,what would have been his reaction had his father bought the reporters here.He first declines wanting to take part or give interviews for the audition,but then agrees that he would want to.Kunal place a bet with him saying that he would get him the fees required for the competition if anand scores 100 in his maths exam.anand is super exccited about it and
gets down to studying.He goes out to tell everybody

Scene 3:
Location:Sulekhaji’s house
Abhay tries to cheer up a sad siddhi by saying that if anand does not like her thisway then she could mould herself in a way that anand likes,not the bad habits as they wouldn’t suit her anyways butsome modifications that would make her look appealing to anand by the time they have a party to attend to.Siddhi agrees beliving that she would do anything ofr her son and change the way he wants her to.As s fisrt step,abhay asks her to be smiling all the time and not walk around the house with a sad face,to which siddhi smilingly agrees.

Scene 4:
Location:Chopra house
Kunal walks in on anand studying intently for his maths exam and leaves satisfied and happy seeing anand.

Scene 5:
Location:Beauty salon
Abhay is helping siddhi get a makeover by getting her a haircut and giving her facial treatments.

Scene 6:
Location:Chopra house
Anand has still not given ver his resolve to study and is taking up his problems with ishani,anokhi getting bored but is happy when kunal offers to take the children to the circus.But ishani and anand decline the offer due to study and plan gets cancelled.

Scene 7:
Location:Shopping mall
Abhay and siddhi shopping for sarees,see a lot of them.Then abhay asks the shopkeeper to pack all of themsince they are all b’ful.then he takes siddhi to a restaurant and teaches her table manners and how to eat with a fork and knife.Seeing her fidgeting he too starts with his hand.both smile.

Scene 8:
Location:Chopra house
Anokhi and kunal come in with anand’s favourite dancer’s video cd.Anand gets excited but turns down the offer saying that he has to study

AFTER A FEW DAYS
Scene 9:
Location:Chopra house
Kunal is pressing his mother’s back and they are discussing anand’s prospect of winning the bet.She is worried that he might weaken his eyesight in d bid to achieve 100 in maths.Seema ttoo agrees with her saying that kunal has almost placed a nearly impossible task for anand.They come out to see anand lost in numbers.kunal tells anand to doze off so that he’s fresh for tomorrow’s exam.He reluctantly agrees.

Scene 10:
Location: Chopra house
Kunal wakes up from sleep and finds anand diligently studying at dawn since he had ordered him not to study late nights.Kunal is moved seeing his son’s sincerity.

Scene 11:
Location:Sulekhaji’s house
Abhay and anand are ready for the party,anand is tols that there is another person accompanying them and its not her dadi.he is scared that if his mom comes along then he would be embarassed in front of his friends.On being asked the reason by sulekhaji,he says that siddhi does not have a fashinable dressing sense.However seeing siddhi coming down the stairs after her makeover, he is spellbound and says to abhay that she is not that bad either.Siddhi asks does it mean that she is allowed to go with him to the party ,anand asks abhay whether they could take her along to which abhay mischievously answers that if he is so forceful about it,then she can.The screen freezes on siddhi’s happy face.

Precap: Seema is indirectly reminding kunal of what is to happen if anand gets 100 and kunal loses the bet.Kunal is also wondering what if he actually gets 100,how will he collect 25000 for his competition but is still determined that he would do it at any cost.
