Parichay 21st September 2012 Written Update

Dewan’s office

Abhay and Siddhi are in a meeting while Kunal is in the lobby of the office waiting for RIcha and wondering why haven’t she come yet. THe conference room gives a view of the Lobby and Kunal wants to make sure that Siddhi watches him with Richa. He is worried that Siddhi might leave for a meeting. Richa arrives and Kunal comments on her Indian outfit. Kunal keeps looking at Siddhi waiting for her to look. He puts his hand around Richa to make a show but then is dejected that Siddhi is not even sparing a look. Richa coax him to leave and wonders where they are going, to a lounge or pub. Kunal is desperate to attract Siddhi’s attention while Richa is perplexed by sudden change in his behaviour. Kunal exuses saying that he’ll inform his boss. He goes into the conference room and informs Abhay that he’s leaving with his wife all the time looking at Siddhi. Abhay says Kunal is a lucky man and Kunal says yes he is as his wife loves him and his son a lot. He asks if he can leave to which Abhay says he has no issue but he should ask Siddhi as she’s his boss. Kunal turns to ask Siddhi if he can take his wife for dinner as the weather is too good and he doesn’t want to loose the opportunity. Siddhi says she has no problem and keeps looking as Kunal takes his leave.

Kunal goes back to Richa and now has Siddhi’s attention who keeps looking at them forlornly. Kunal is being extra sweet towards Richa and she is happy with Kunal’s changed behaviour. Finally they leave and Siddhi feels bad. The moment they are outside the office premises Kunal is distant again and asks to leave saying he’s too tired to go to lounge and would go somewhere else. Richa suggests to go to a pub but instead Kunal suggests that they’ll go somewhere nearby. Richa wonders what suddenly happened to Kunal’s behaviour but desides to go along with his suggestions.
Much to Richa’s discomfort Kunal takes her to a roadside eatery where Richa feels out of place. Kunal is satisfied that Siddhi saw Richa with him. He thinks now she’s think that he’s married and Anand is our son. Richa on other hand is wondering which oil would have been used to cook the food at the eatery but thinks in so many years this is the first time Kunal got her to a date and decides to eat the food. Abhay who was passing by the street spots Kunal and Richa who were having their dinner and tells Siddhi this is what he calls a perfect date! He suggests that they surprise them but Siddhi stays mum and he thinks that she doesn’t want to disturb them. Siddhi gets sad and Abhay drives away. Kunal suggests that they would have dinner together tomorrow as well, hearing which Richa is ecstatic.

Dewan House
Abhay and Siddhi return home and Sulekha watches as Abhay is talking to Siddhi. She wonders if Abhay and Siddhi has a future but then stops herself from thinking on those lines.
Siddhi is in her room, missing Anand and on the other hand Kunal is restless too and missing Anand.

Campsite
Chota Anand is sitting with his friends and says he can do better cycling than the guy who was currently exhibiting his skills. Bada Anand’s friend says that Chota Anand needs to be taught a lesson to mess with Bada Anand and they can mess with his cycle brakes but Bada Anand is not too keen sighting that the guy could get hurt. But Bada Anand’s friends are insistent. When Chota Anand starts to cycle he fells down and falls in puddle. Chota Anand understands that it was a prank and thinks it was Bada Anand. He vows to get back to him.
Dewan’s office

Siddhi and Kunal are discussing some file when their hands touch and they share a moment. Kunal breaks the ice-lock and excuses himself. He forgets his phone in the cabin and Anand calls. Siddhi sees its Anand, Kunal’s son and takes the call. Siddhi is hearing on as Anand complains why he didn’t call him. Anand says he misses Kunal and loves him. Siddhi thinks everyone loves Kunal and misses him but no one loves her, not even her own son. Bada Anand complains about Chota Anand to Kunal and Siddhi is shocked to hear it. Bada Anand says he hates Chota Anand and don’t know why he’s after him. Siddhi says that Chota Anand is stubborn and you can win over him only through love. Bada Anand is surprised to listen to a feminie voice. Siddhi goes to hand over the phone to Kunal. Bada Anand asks Kunal who was the aunty who recived the call but then exuses saying his coach called him.

Kunal was worried seeing tears in Siddhi’s eyes wondering whether it was for him or the son she never cared for.

Siddhi is sad thinking that even if they can’t meet she wants his son and her son to become friends as that would be one way in which her son would get and opportunity to meet his dad and may be Kunal will then realize that he’s his own son.

Campsite
Chota Anand sets a trap for Bada Anand by scattering banana peels on the ground and instigating him to take that way. He’s eating a banana while watching Bada Anand. He throws the banana peel back and while intently waiting for Bada Anand’s fall he start receding. Bada Anand is about to set his foot on the banana peel but Chota Anand slips over own banana peel and trips over the fence and is on the threshold of the valley. Bada Anand runs back and saves Chota Anand and everyone thanks him. Chota Anand’s friends tells Bada Anand about the trap. Chota Anand thanks and apologizes to Bada Anand. They become friends. The coach comments that they don’t look friends but brothers.

Bada Anand and Chota Anand are now in a tent and thinking why they look so similar. They think about the connection. Bada Anand says he only has father but he’s got both. Chota Anand confesses that Abhay is not his real dad but treats him like one. Chota Anand says that Bada Anand must have some identification of his mom but Bada Anand says that no one talks about her. Chota Anand shows his mom’s pic to Bada Anand who instantly recognizes her and says he met her at dance competition. He asks whats her name and Chota anand replies, “Siddhi”. Bada Anand instantly remembers Kunal taking her name in sleep and Veena bad mouthing her when he asks about her. Bada Anand tells Chota Anand that he hears this name from his dad’s mouth often while he’s asleep. The boys come to a conclusion that their mom’s name is same. Bada Anand asks if Chota Anand knows his dad’s name to which he says he’ll ask her right away. Anand calls Siddhi and Siddhi is surprised to see Anand calling her. When she receives the call, Anand asks his dad’s name. Siddhi is taken aback and tries to find what is happening but Anand is persistent. Siddhi gives in on a condition he’ll not tell it to anyone and Anand agrees. And she replies, “Kunal Chopra”. Chota Anand is taken aback and shares this info with Bada Anand. They realize they are twin brothers and share a hug.

The guy in the office is talking to others pervertly about Siddhi and Kunal overhears the same. He gets mad and starts to slap the guy hard. Siddhi comes by and gets angry at Kunal saying he can neither control himself nor his anger.
