Parichay 14th September 2012 Written Update

Diwan’s party
Kunal pulls Siddhi towards himself. The pain is evident on both their faces. Chopra’s look embarrased as the guests look on. Sulekha is ofended and looks enraged. Kunal is too drunk. He steps back and falls back when Raj and Gaurav helps him and they escort him out. Siddhi is upset. Gaurav rues about Kunal’s drinking habits and says what people would be thinking about them. Siddhi rushes out to check on them. Gaurav drives off with Veena, Kunal, Anokhi and Ishani while Raj goes to fetch a rick for himself and Seema.
Siddhi goes forward to talk to Seema and asks her if Kunal is fine. But Seema gets angry on her and tells her that her employee would be in time to office tommorrow. blames her for everything that has happened with Kunal. She tells him she’s responsible for everything that has happened wrong. She tells him that Kunal has taken too long to come out of gloom and her memories and now when he’s trying to forget Siddhi and move ahead in life she’s back to ruin it all. She further adds that she has successfully put him down in front of everyone. Siddhi asks why would she do that to which Seema replies coz thats her conduct. To make the relations and to break it is her persona. She did it with Kunal when she was his wife and now she’s doing it again as his boss. She says that Siddhi has always played with Kunal’s feelings but that will not happen anymore as Kunal has changed. She adds that Kunal now has a reason to live and to be happy. The remnants of feelings that he still garners will soon vanish watching her new avatar. She adds that she doesn’t want to give her any reason to complain or be angry with Kunal and remove her grudges against him.
Siddhi says you think of me like Kunal does to which Seema says that she thinks even worse and Siddhi is the worst woman on the earth as she betrayed people who loved her the most. She says that after Kunal it was she who trusted her the most but Siddhi broke her trust too. Seema says that she has sold off her relations to reach where she is today and would never be at peace.
Raj comes back with auto and ignoring Siddhi, asks Seema to get in soon and not waste time with people like Siddhi who doesn’t deserve her anger. He addressed Siddhi as Madamji and asks for forgiveness. Siddhi tries to have a word with him but Raj tells her that they are ordinary people unlike her and it would be an insult to her to speak to people like them. He says that they think from heart and says what they feel.

A fancy dress programme is on. And both the Anands end up on the stage dressed as Spiderman. Bada Kunal is having his glasses on while someone points he’s peter parker. Chota Kunal says its his performance. But Bada Anand says its his performance. They have an argument. The coordinator says its Anand’s performance and both say they are Anand. The coordinator says its Anand Diwan and the other Anand would be punished. Chota Anand pushes Bada Anand and they have a fight. They remove their masks and everyone is zapped to see them. They are like mirror images in same costume. The coordinator asks if they both are twins. TO which Chota Anand says that he’s high class and bada Anand is low class and they can’t be twins while Bada Anand says that he doesn’t have manners and can’t be his brother. They both say they hate each other and stomp off the make-shift stage.
Diwan House
Sulekha is expressing her displeasure over Kunal’s behaviour towards Siddhi to Abhay while Siddhi is standing outside the door. Abhay says he’s taken aback by Kunal’s behaviour too. Sulekha says that she knows Abhay regards Kunal and also thought that he was a decent guy but this was no way in which he behaved with Siddhi in their own house. Sulekha aks Abhay to take this matter seriously and question Kunal on this.
Chopra House
Raj is talking to Seema and Veena saying whatever happened was wrong and if nothing else Kunal will definitely loose his job. Veena says she doesn’t care its all because of this Job. So if Kunal looses this job he wouldn’t have to face Siddhi. Raj says thats exactly what even Siddhi wants. He says that Kunal has yet not forgotten Siddhi and this is the reason why this happened in the party. Raj says thats its their fault too as if they had gotten Kunal married to Richa nothing of the sort would have happened.
Diwan House
Siddhi is standing on the balcony wondering why Kunal is hell bent on destroying himself and not letting her help him. She thinks of what he did in the party and wonders why he drank so much and if he did why he didn’t control and made a scene. She thinks if it was Kunal’s love or hate. But then she think how could it be love but then his eyes haunt her and confuse her.

Bada Kunal gets up suddenly calling for his mom. Chota Kunal and his friends see him and Chota Kunal pledges that he will not spare Bada Kunal who copied him and would teach him a lesson the next day.
Chopra House
Its the next day. Kunal gets up and remembers about the scene he created in the party. Veena is angry at him and confronts him about what he did. Kunal says he doesn’t want to talk but Veena is persistent and says why he couldn’t see Abhay with Siddhi. Raj comes in and says that he’s fooling himself saying that he has nothing to do with Siddhi anymore. He asks her what he wants. Anokhi comes in the room and informs that there’s a call from Kunal’s office and he’s called immediately. Raj says that there comes his summons. Veena curses Siddhi.

Diwan House
At the breakfast table Siddhi joins Sulekha. Sulekha asks Siddhi about the party and asks if she’s ok. Siddhi assures her that she’s fine. Siddhi asks about Abhay to which SUlekha replies that he left for office early and was upset. Siddhi wonders that if Abhay left for office to meet to Kunal and thinks that she would have to meet him before he meets Kunal. She leaves for office too.
