The episode starts with kansa looking at the pothole and says nothing is here, how did I fall down then? Kansa says it must have been my imagination, not the truth. Kansa gets scared and says imagine, truth, imagine. Laxmi says to lord Vishnu, prabhu till today evil kansa never feared anything before doing any adharma and now he is scared by himself and the truth too. lord Vishnu says kansa did not believe anything before. Even when the akashvani was made, he did not believe it but when he took kanha in his mrit lok and heard from kanha the truth, he has become scared of that very fact. Narad muni says which means he doubts himself prabhu. Lord Vishnu says yes.
There kansa, janur and pralapt are going ahead. Kansa says I am bhagwan kansa and I fear no one in this world. Suddenly
a lion’s roaring is heard by kansa and he gets scared and says what are you doing janur and pralapt? Pralapt says what happened bhagwan? Kansa says cant you hear the lion roaring? Run for your lives right now. Pralapt says there is no lion roaring bhagwan. Kansa says what? Then he understands and says oh okay, it was just imagination. As they walk ahead, kansa sees in the sky and sees an eagle swooping down on him. kansa says get down and he gets down on ground, he and janur and pralapt hide behind a tree and janur says what happened bhagwan? Kansa says see that eagle it is attacking us. Pralapt says there is no eagle bhagwan. Kansa says what? No eagle. Kansa says okay I was just imagining. They walk ahead and then kansa says I am having brahma but nothing is true, I am bhagwan kansa and no one can fool me. Kansa looks in the sky and says my sister devki, your mother’s love will recognize your son, I am coming to kill him. kansa laughs.
There devki comes running inside yashoda’s house and sees everywhere. Devki says son where are you? Devki runs everywhere to find her son, she runs to the terrace and says son please come to your mother, I have waited for you long, where are you? Devki screams from the terrace son! She then cries and comes down. all people of gokul watch devki. Devki sees kanha’s dress kept and picks it and smells it. Devki says I am sure this is my son’s clothes and this smell of his, I recognize it, it is my son’s. devki says son your mother has come here, I want to hug you and give you my love. Devki sees the flute kept and picks it and says this flute is for sure my son’s flute, he is the murlidhar and when he must be playing this flute then all time must be stopping with that sweet music. Devki cries and says son please come to me, I cant wait anymore. Kanha’s friends see and dhama says why is devki kaki looking at kanha’s things and thinking it to be her son’s belongings?
There laxmi says to lord Vishnu, prabhu how is it possible that mata devki who had not seen her son since he was born, recognized her son by the smell of his dress and his flute? Lord Vishnu says devi, mata devki is familiar with her son’s smell. Lord Vishnu says because of her bhakti towards me, I was born to her in many yug’s and she has always loved me more than anyone, she was fortunate to have me as her son so she knows and recognizes me even without haven met me once.
There devki cries and yashoda comes. yashoda says sister devki, what happened? Why are you crying here? Devki says yashoda, see I have found my son. Yashoda is happy and says what? Tell me devki where is your son? I am very happy for you. Devki says yashoda he has been living in this house since he was born. Yashoda is confused and says but devki who is your son here? Balram and damodar come. Devki has kanha’s dress and flute. Devki says yashoda my son has lived here since he was born and I know it, these dress and flute belongs to him. balram thinks in Mathura kaki devki accepted me as her son but here she is saying kanha is her son. Yashoda is shocked and says no devki, these are my son kanha’s belongings. Devki says kanha! What a beautiful name! my son is kanha. Yashoda has tears and says devki you are in a misunderstanding, kanha is not your son he is my son, I understand your sorrow and that you have not seen your son since his birth but kanha is my son. Devki says no yashoda, you have taken his care for 5 years and I am very thankful for that but the truth wont change, I gave birth to kanha. Lord Vishnu sees and is sad and worried. Yashoda cries and says devki, I know your sadness, kansa killed all your children and that is the greatest sorrow a mother can have but it doesn’t mean you will claim kanha as your son, he is mine and I gave birth to kanha. Yashoda says I will give you the proof. She goes to dai maa and says kaki you tell sister devki that you were present when I gave birth to kanha. Dai ma says yes devi devki, kanha is yashoda’s son. Yashoda goes to a kaka and says kaka you gave the good news to nand ji, you tell her. Kaka says maharani devki, I swear I know kanha is yashoda’s son and everyone was happy when he was born to yashoda. Devki says to yashoda, the truth wont change and if you want to listen to the truth then I will tell you.
Laxmi says to lord Vishnu, this is the greatest problem which can ever arise. Laxmi says kanha is both mata devki and yashoda’s son but they are both claiming kanha. Lord Vishnu says no devi, it is not claim, it is love. Lord Vishnu says for the first time today I have openly seen mata devki’s love towards me, she loves me a lot and after seeing her the way she is today I am fortunate to have her as my mother and lucky to be born to her. Lord Vishnu says in treta yug when I was ram, I had to go on exile because of which I was kept away from my mother’s love. Lord Vishnu says but in this yug, I will get 2 mother’s love with interest, let me experience it. Laxmi says but do something prabhu. Lord Vishnu says what is the hurry devi? I will experience the love of mata devki too.
There devki says listen yashoda, on the night of ashta amavas, I gave birth to a son and as you say that same time kanha was born. Devki says maharaj vasudev himself told me this truth. On the night when my son was born, he first took him in his hands, then suddenly his chains opened and all the gates of Mathura opened. Devki continues saying maharaj vasudev took my son in a basket to the Yamuna river which was very stormy that day and flooding but he crossed the river somehow and reached gokul. Devki says then he came into gokul and was surrounded by many cows. Yashoda says then what happened sister? Devki says see sister yashoda, I can do anything to have my son back.
