Palki Malhotra out of Dill Dostii Dance; Shakti Mohan likely to get back in the show
Few hours back, we wrote about the gorgeous Vrinda Dawda returning to Dill Dostli Dance, the popular show on Channel [V] produced by Cinevistaas Ltd. We now hear of the good-looking Shakti Mohan too getting back to the serial.
As per a reliable source, Shakti Mohan who essayed the role of Kriya might soon be back on D3. Talks have been on with the girl for some time now, and the chances of her return look bright as of now, confided our source.
And it looks as though the story will now proceed towards a triangle with two women (Kriya and Taani) getting back into the life of Rey (Kunwar Amarjeet Singh).
Well, if this is a good news, then there is a shocker too coming your way.
Palkhi Malhotra, who has conceived this show Dill Dostii Dance from its day one as the Project Head, Cinevistaas, will not be a part of the project anymore. If sources are to be believed, the channel honchos have asked for Palki’s exit as they want a completely new creative team to take the show to the next level.
When contacted, Palki confirmed her exit from D3. “Yes, I will be moving out of D3. I respect the channel’s decision. If I am responsible towards the show, then the channel is accountable for the show. In other words, they are at a higher level of proving what they have to do for a show’s success. It is just one show for me, but for them it is an entire network. I am sure they will have right reasons to do whatever they are doing. They have chosen a path, and I respect that path.”
We hear that Cinevistaas Ltd. will bring in a new Project Head to lead the team of Dill Dostii Dance very soon.
We tried calling Shakti Mohan and even sent her a text message, but did not get any revert.
We also sent a text message across to Prem Kamath, Executive Vice-President and GM of Channel [V], but did not get any response.
