No farewell for the cast and crew of Colors’ Bani
Colors’ Bani Ishq Da Kalma (Mystic – An Entertainment Company and Colosceum Media Pvt. Ltd.) would witness a happy ending on 20 June 2014, but the cast &crew did not see a good farewell.
The show that ran for a year and three months will be replaced by Balaji’s upcoming love story Meri Aashiqui Tum Hi Se.
Yesterday (11 June 2014) happened to be the last day of shoot for the lead cast of the show and today (12 June 2014) will be the final shoot for one and all associated with the project. Interestingly, the departure of the lead cast was unlike any other serial. There was no sobbing, hugging or cake cutting.
Wondering why none of this happened?
That’s because none of these artists knew that it was their last day on the sets.
“It was only at night that I learnt about it being my last day at work,” stated Shefali Sharma best known as Bani.
Adhhvik Mahaj (Soham) too seemed surprised and a bit taken aback by this development as he went on to express, “Nobody informed us about it being the last day.
No information came in from the production or the channel which was a bit disheartening. But I will be in touch with my team.”
Shefali further went on to add, “It was a very good experience working on the sets of Bani and I will miss my cast the most.”
Gaurav Chaudhary (Parmeet) however remained unshaken by this development. “The show has had a good run and I am pretty happy about it; rest does not really matter.”
What’s next for Gaurav? “I will be going to Delhi for a few days to meet my family and will be back soon after.”
Surprised by this step motherly treatment, we tried contacting Producer Damini Shetty but she did not revert to us till the time of filing this article.
Whatever it may be, Bani fans did have their happy moments watching their favourite show.

June 12, 13:49I loved the show and most of all the cast. You guys, Pameet, Bani, Rajji, Soham, Guggi and Kuki, Soham’s brother and sister in law and Beeji. Even all of Parmeet’s family members they gave it their best. It was a different kind of show and yes it very much highlightened the fact that beware what anyone poses to be, do your research before you consent to marriage and always look at the persons face on the day of marriage if this is bad omen then at least two from each side should do the honours. Gone are the days to trust blindly….The credit goes to this show for this very important message. I wish you all the very best!
