Nithyashree to bag the ‘Performer of the Day’ award this week on Indian Idol Junior

Sony TV’s Indian Idol Junior has been getting rave reviews for the high level of performances coming from the talented kids unearthed by the acclaimed judges on the show.

This week (Saturday), the contestants will be seen grooving to popular songs of famous singer Sukhvinder Singh. And Nithyashree, the girl with the golden voice we hear, utilized the opportunity to the best of use, and came out with flying colours!!

As per a reliable source, “Nithyashree’s fabulous rendition of a Punjabi number sung by Sukhvinder brought her huge appreciation from the judges. She was immensely praised for her precision in language, and for the manner in which she carried the high as well as low notes to perfection.”

Well, this beautiful performance won Nithyashree the Performer of the day award. For the uninitiated, this is the second time that the girl from South will be winning the award. The only other contestant to have won two Performer of the Day awards happens to be the Kerala boy, Vaishnav.
