Nilam Panchal talks about her little bundle of joy… her daughter Nihira

Actress Nilam Panchal is known for her excellent portrayals in Star Plus’ Hamari Devrani and Ruk Jaana Nahi. The lady took a maternity break for two years, and that is when happiness in the form of her daughter Nihira filled her life!!

Nilam had then decided that she would stage a return to acting once her daughter would complete her first birthday!! And exactly when her daughter turned 13 months old, Neelam bagged the offer in Star Plus’ popular show, Ek Veer Ki Ardaas Veera (Beyond Dreams Productions).

And now, Nilam will play the childhood friend of Bansuri, and will have a prominent role in the track to come.

Talking about her daughter, Nilam told us, “Well, she is a bundle of joy, and I have been declining lot many offers in the last one year. I was very conscious of the fact that I will return to acting only after she is one year old.”

Nilam is married to writer and actor Mihir Rajda, who is presently seen in Colors’ Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi.

The couple has named their daughter after their names. “‘Ni’ comes from my name Nilam, and ‘Hir’ comes from her dad, Mihir and our daughter got named as ‘Nihira’ which means ‘Newly found treasure’. And she is certainly a newly found treasure for us (smiles),” expressed the proud mother.

Nilam is glad to have got back to acting and looks to do a swell job as an actor.
