Newbie Sahil Phull to enter Colors’ Uttaran as the new lead
Colors’ Uttaran, produced by FilmFarm India, will now see the entry of a new lead in actor Sahil Phull.
Sahil will essay the role of Ashraque, younger brother of Asgar (Krip Suri). Ashraque will be a complete contrast to big brother Asgar’s bad boy image.
A source states, “Ashraque will be an artist by profession. He will be a simple guy who would live in his dream world. Very positive in nature, Ashraque would also help his father in his family business, in addition to indulging in his artistic work.”
Sahil has already started shooting in Manali, and his entry is expected soon.
As for Sahil, he has done an English TV series titled Moti Giri. He has also been part of an Australian short film, Shabd. His movie titled Punaha is due for release. The actor has undergone intense acting training in Australia in Victoria College of Arts.
When contacted, Sahil confirmed his entry in Uttaran stating, “Yes, I will be the new lead entering Uttaran.”
As per sources, a new track related to Ashraque and Meethi (Tina Dutta) will open up with Meethi landing in Pakistan, and living with this family.
As we have already reported, Rakesh Pandey and Charu Rohatgi will play parents of Krip and Sahil, while Samiksha Bhatnagar will essay Krip’s wife. Mansi Sharma will play the sister in the family.
Get ready for this fresh and interesting track in Uttaran.
