One such actress is the beautiful and gorgeous Sanaya Irani who is seen as Myra in Colors’ popular show Rangrasiya. Sanaya speaks to us about her brother and memories related to Rakhi in this candid chat.

“My brother used to give me 1 rupee as a gift when we were small. I used to call him up and wish him though I used to be unhappy to receive 1 rupee as a gift. But my brother always used to complain that Rakshabandhan is becoming a money making business and in fact it should be me who should be gift him something and make him feel special,” quips Sanaya.

The pretty actress says that she and her brother have spent the best time of their life during their childhood, “My brother is my life. He is the awesome brother one could ever have and I feel without him my childhood would be really dull.”

Well this is indeed a sweet one.

Rakshabandan is a day when all sisters tie a rakhi (kind of like a friendship band) on their brothers’ hands and the brothers give their sisters money/gifts in return as a promise to protect them from evil and ensure they are happy. It’s a day to celebrate the bond between siblings.
