Mrs. Kaushik Ki Paanch Bahuein 4th July 2012 Written Update

Episode starts with Ria teaching maasa and Gehna about current affairs about India for the competition.

They question each other to see their knowledge and later are deciding what to do for the talent contest.

A nosy Aarthi comes to spy on the house to see what is happening. No one is there in the hall and the phone rings. Aarthi answers and tells the person who wants to speak to ria that she is ria. The man asks her when to send the clothes and aarthi pretending to be ria gives him a different instruction to sabotage

Karantia suddenly appears and asks her what she was doing near the phone. Aarthi is happy that she did not hear her conversation. She changes the topic and further insults Karantia. Than she says she came to give Maasa vegetables quickly leaves. Karantia is suspicious of Aarthi and feels like something is wrong as aarthi always comes to take things, she never gives them things.

Ria is very upset that the clothes she ordered has been changed and worriedly tells maasa and Gehna they are bound to lose. Maasa says not to worry and she know what they can do and tells them in mute.

All the kaushiks (sons & DIL’s with maasa) are at the competition place and Lovely realizes her team has left something in the house so Lovely goes to get it. Aarthi seeing Lovely going to the house follows her and locks her in the room.

Lovely takes the things and realizes she has been locked. She asks for help as her phone is with karantia. Aarthi happily tells her team she locked Lovely up.

Gehna asks maasa if she has taken her medicine and when maasa says not yet, Gehna goes to get it. Gehna is worried that maasa seems to be not taking care of herself. Gehna hears Lovely when she comes into the house. At first she does not want to help as she thinks that without Lovely Karantia and nimmi will surely not win but later she remembers how they also helped her whe she choked and she opens the door for her.

Lovely is surprised to see Gehna opening the door for her. She thanks Gehna and tells Gehna someone deliberately locked her. Gehna tells her its getting late quickly go to the competition.
Lovely is very happy and thinks to herself that she is sure that the 5 DIL’s will be together again and can never be apart for long.

All the kaushik men and ammasa are all seated with the rest for the brains and beauty competition. The host says that the score board shows the results with Aarthi’s team at the no 1 place followed by the 2 kaushik teams and lastly the bandhari team.

Nimmi and karantia are worried as Lovely is late. But Lovely does not tell them she was locked up. They see on the TV the host saying that this round has 3 parts. The modeling, the talent part as well as a buzzer round answering questions.

The first team. Bandhari’s team comes looking very clowny as they are dressed very colorfully. (the expression on the kaushik men really cute) The judges ask them why they chose the outfit and they say don’t know. They are given very low points. Next aarthi’s team is called on

Aarthi’s team comes dressed in modern clothes and aarthi does a hopping sort of catwalk and nearly falls. When asked the question , arrthi replies that their team wants to show Bahu’s also can walk, talk and dance in English and she tries to dance. We hear her skirt tearing and the team quickly run away. They get a little better marks than Bandhari’s team.

Next is Lovely’s team (all 3 really looked good) they come as the 3 facets of Indian women – the village woman, the middle class house wife and the corporate woman.

Precap: Maasa, Gehna and Ria dressed as the 3 devi’s, Durga, Saraswathy and Mahalakshmi. And she is explaining why they came as such and that the world should respect these 3 goddesses as well as they are also represented by all that is done by the bahu’s in their daily lives.
