Scene 1
The scene opens with Mithai running in the market. She comes to her father’s shop and says I presented sweets to Lord in the mandir. Mithai says our shop’s sweets are famous. She asks if I will win the sweets competition? He says for sure.. it all turns out to be her dream. She falls down from her bed. Her mother comes there and says you keep dreaming and falling down from your bed. She goes to get ready.

Mithai is cooking in the kitchen while her mother is the cleaning and setting up mandir. Mithai cooks sweets, her mother asks her to present them to Gopal. Mithai prays to Gopal. Her mother prays for her marriage so she doesn’t have to sell her sweets on the streets. Mithai says I want to do business before getting married. I want everyone to buy my sweets and then I will become famous. I will have a huge business. She says I am going to the competition today, I will win it and earn 2 lacs to open a shop. Her mother tells her to not dream this big otherwise she will get hurt. Mithai says I saw the father in my dream and he also said that I will win. She leaves. Her mother thinks there will be famous competitors in the competition, how will Mithai win?

A family is talking about the competition. The guy brings sweets there. His brother-in-law says we are going to take part in the competition.

Mithai is preparing sweets for the competition. She says I am going to Mathura to take part in the competition. She ties her pots to her cycle and gets ready to leave. Her mother wishes her luck and she leaves.

Mithai comes to a mandir and presents sweets to Gopal, she prays for her victory. She goes to the market and looks at her father’s locked-up shop. She says soon I will get this shop back when I earn money.

Mithai comes to the railway station to go to Mathura. Some guy Guru is leering at her. His friend asks him to talk to her. Guru says I will grab her if she doesn’t listen to me. He comes to Mithai. She asks what happened? Are you a Coolie now? He says I can be anything for you. She asks him to sit down. He does. Mithai says to pray for my victory today. She goes on the train. Guru thinks I don’t want her to win otherwise she will earn her father’s shop back which was snatched by my father.

Guru comes to Mithai’s mother and tells her to marry Mithai to him and he will give the shop back to them. Her mother says families talk about marriage. He says my mother will come to talk to you tomorrow and you have to say yes, he leaves. Her mother recalls how her friend asked for Mithai’s hand for her son Sidharth in their childhood. Her mother says my Mithai is different. Guru is from a rich family but he isn’t made for my Mithai. Aarti’s son Sidharth would be best for Mithai? I don’t even know where they are now. She looks at the necklace that Aarti gave her as a promise.

Sidharth is looking at his mother Aarti’s photo and cries. His father comes there and says we are going to the competition today but he doesn’t want to come with us? This day is important for us as we have been winning the competition for 4 years now. Sidharth glares at him. His father says I made a big business for him but he took up a job after becoming a Software Engineer, he wants to be a slave to others. Bauji tells Sidharth’s father Ginesh to end it. Sidharth says he is my father but after my mother left me, he never supported me as a father so I have no expectations from him and he shouldn’t have any from me. Ginesh angrily leaves. Bauji tells Sidharth that I know you don’t like these celebrations, I know you are angry towards your father and you miss your mother but it’s about our family. Please come with us. Sidharth hugs him and says I always listen to you. Bauji asks him to bring Apiksha, we will all go together.

Mithai is going to Mathura and keeps selling Jalebi on the way.

Sidharth’s family is preparing sweets for the competition. Dadi says I am trying to get Gopal ready. The kids have prepared flavored sweets. Bauji says we should take our old sweets and not these fusion sweets. Ginesh says these are our best-selling sweets, we earned a lot by selling these. You should see how I took your business to new heights. Bauji says we have lost our traditional taste. Ginesh says we make what sells. Bauji hears Mithai’s voice outside the house and goes to see her selling on her cycle. He smells her sweets and says it’s delicious, please bring them inside. Mithai enters the house with him and is stunned to see a big house. Ginesh comes there and glares at her.

Precap: Sidharth bumps into Mithai’s cycle with his car and drops her sweets. Mithai says can’t you watch and drive. Sidharth says to Mithai don’t you have sense to look around while handling cycle if you don’t know how to ride then why you come out with cycle, tell me how much money you want. Mithai says I’m not here to take money, I’m here for Chori. He says impossible. Few people are holding Mithai and not allowing her to go in. A man walks to her says no one can just walk in and work at Hari Mohan sweet shop.
