Scene 1
Apeksha brings Sid to all their friends. They are all mingling with him while Mithai stands away. Sid’s friends ask him to introduce his wife to them. Apeksha says I will do that. She brings Mithai to them. She says her name is Mithai. They all joke about her name. They ask Sid how did he agree to marry a small-town girl? A friend asks Sid how did he like this desi girl when he is modern? Mithai says Dadi got me ready, my family helps me unlike Apeksha who is not married. They all take pictures together and exclude Mithai from it. Apeksha says I will cut the cake with Sid as always. Sid gets a call and leaves from there. All friends are sympathizing with Apeksha. Mithai says I took Sid’s side in the court as that’s love. Apeksha makes her eat cake and puts it on her face also. Apeksha jokes about her business and tells everyone that she sells jalebis on the streets. Sid comes back so Apeksha stops.
All are enjoying in the party. Apeksha comes to Mithai and says you have no place in Sid’s life, this is his life. Mithai says you can do anything but you can’t separate Sid from his family. Apeksha goes to dance with others. Some friends ask Mithai to join them in dancing but Apeksha says she can’t dance but she can sing her jalebi song. Mithai says I don’t sing for everyone.
Apeksha goes to Sid and takes him from there. She brings him to her room and says you will be free soon. Apeksha shows the visa to Sid and says we can go to Singapore now. Sid says I can’t leave Dadu now. Apeksha says my mom will handle the case so you don’t have to worry.
Mithai is trying to look for Sid but his friends gather around her and tease her. They ask how did she trap Sid? Mithai says you people don’t have manners? his friend says we are joking so don’t be serious. Mithai says you are making fun of me. She tries to leave but bumps into a friend and he falls down. His friend shouts at Mithai that she pushed me away. Sid and Apeksha come there. Sid asks what happened? His friend says she is insulting us and pushed me away. Apeksha says don’t hurt Sid, he is our friend. Sid’s friend says this woman pushed me.. Sid says enough, she is my wife, you have no right to insult her. His friend says can’t you see that we can’t include this cheap girl in our circle. Sid shouts enough, she is my wife. You are no one to judge her. His friend says what about her manners? Why did she push me? Mithai says he is lying, he bumped into me. Sid asks Mithai to say sorry to him. Mithai says it’s not her fault. Sid says just say sorry. Mithai says sorry. Apeksha takes Sid and Mithai from there. She asks them to not fight in front of others as people can record you both. You can argue in this room. She leaves from there. Apeksha has put a spy camera in the room and thinks now they will fight and I will record it. She starts watching her camera recording and waits for them to argue. Mithai asks Sid to listen to her. Sid says he is my friend, why did you push him like that? You came here with me. Mithai says why do you always blame me? Sid says it’s about my reputation. Mithai sees the camera in the room and says I am sorry Sid, your world is different but I will try to adjust. We fell in love so we have to find a way to each other. She holds his hand and tries to point at the camera. She takes Sid from there. Mithai tells Sid that Apeksha has hidden a camera in the room. Sid says you are alleging Apeksha? He goes back in the room and the camera is gone. Sid says I don’t trust you. Apeksha comes there. Sid says I should go back home. He leaves from there. Apeksha tells Mithai that you started acting after seeing the camera right? Mithai says you are a cheap woman, you are ready to trap your own firend? Apeksha says you couldn’t find any proof against me. Mithai says I will bring your truth out, I won’t let you play with Sid’s life anymore. She leaves. Apeksha calls Girish and says I will do something to get proof against them.
Sid and Mithai come back home. Mithai tries to talk to him but Sid says I am feeling suffocated in this marriage. Mithai says you took me there, your friends were insulting me. Sid says you this marriage was a compromise but I can’t take this burden anymore. He leaves from there.
