Mithai 23rd April 2022 Written Episode

Scene 1
Kirti tells Mithai that Sid sent this spray for your pain. She leaves. Indu tells Mithai I told you that Sid is caring and a very nice person. Mithai leaves from there.

Dadu comes to Dadi and says if Sid can’t marry Mithai then we can get Shubham and Mithai married. It’s a good idea as I want Mithai to become our daughter-in-law. Dadi doesn’t like the idea and says we should think about it first. Dadu says I will go and talk to Indu. He leaves. Dadi says I feel like Girish will not agree with this proposal and it will create a rift in the family.

Mithai comes to Sid’s room to give the spray back, he is not there so she enters the room and looks at his mother’s photo. She says he was close to his mother. Sid comes there and says you? Mithai gets scared. Sid shouts how dare you to touch my items? Get out right now. Mithai runs from there. She cries so Kirti comes to her and says he is like that, he doesn’t like anyone entering his room. He has his mother’s memories there so he doesn’t want anyone disturbing him. Sometimes it’s like he has forgotten that we are his family too.

Sid looks at his mother’s photo and recalls Girish’s words that he doesn’t care about Aarti’s promise. He recalls his mother’s death.

Dadu comes to Indu and says I have found a good groom for Mithai, you know. Indu says who? Dadu says I am talking about my grandson Shubham. Indu gets surprised and says really? I couldn’t find a guy like him for my daughter. Dadu calls Shubham there and takes her blessings. Indu blesses him and says my Mithai might look a little crazy but she knows how to fulfill her relationships. She will be a good wife and a great mother. Shubham smiles and leaves from there. Dadu tells Indu that it will be a perfect couple. Mithai comes there and says Sid keeps scolding me. She asks Dadu why doesn’t he ever stop him? He keeps insulting me. Dadu says yes, he can’t scold our daughter-in-law like this. Mithai says what? Dadu says we have chosen Shubham for you, you will marry him. Mithai says what? I can’t marry as I have a dream of becoming a businesswoman. Indu tells Dadu that I will talk to her, Dadu nods and leaves.

Scene 2
Shubham is in his room and recalls everything. He is stressed. Chacha comes there and asks what happened?

Shaurya comes to Kirti and Karishma. He says something is going on in the house. Shubham went to talk to Dadu and Indu.

Shubham tells Phupha that how can Dadu fix my marriage suddenly? He has chosen Mithai for me. Phupha says what? you didn’t say anything? Shubham says I know Dadu loves me and will always think best for me but he should have at least asked me before fixing my marriage. Phupha says he didn’t even ask you? Shubham says I want to become independent first but he didn’t listen. How can I tell him that I am not ready for the marriage right now?

Dadu calls everyone in the living room. All family members gather there. Sid is there too. Dadu says it’s time for Shubham’s marriage and I have found a girl for him. That girl’s name is Mithai. Everyone is shocked. Sid thinks it’s a good decision as Maa’s wish will be fulfilled. Girish tells Dadu what is he talking about? I know people don’t like how I talk but I can’t be silent when this is going on in the house. Dadu tells Girish that I am doing this for my family’s benefit. Girish says I won’t let it happen. Dadu says why not? What’s the issue with Mithai? You never showed love to Shubham and now we are talking about his marriage so you are against it? Girish says I won’t let that girl become this house’s daughter in law. The girl and her mother keep trying to extort money from us. Now they want to stay here for life? They are cheating us by using Aarti’s name. Dadu says think like a father for once. Shubham needs a partner who can bring happiness in his life. Girish says even if I agree that you are right but that girl’s status doesn’t match ours, she is from a village so I can’t let our reputation be tarnished by choosing her. Sid thinks he can never change. He turns to see Mithai standing there and hearing everything. All family members turn to find Mithai there.
