Balram in anger subconsciously cuts wooden plank. Atmaram asks what is he doing. Balram gets conscious and cries seeing spoilt wooden plank. Mother says it is just a wooden plank, so he need not worry. She thinks Sai has not cured him yet. Atmaram takes Balram to Sai and requests to help Balram control his anger. Balram says he followed Sai’s advice, but cannot control his anger as people compare him to his father who was his guru and idol, he is in deep sorrow after losing his father. Atmaram apologizes Balram for comparing him to his father and says he did not know he would feel so bad. He asks Sai what Balram should do now. Sai says bathing, Balram should go and bathe at water well till he comes there and giving stone pebbles says he should drop them in water well. Balram walks away thinks
what Sai is up to. Sai continues his chores and tries to sow a plant in pot. Atmaram says soil is spoilt, so he should change soil. Sai asks plant is healthy though. Atmaram says he did not understand. Sai says Balram’s situation is similar, they cleaned Balram’s roots, but not his soil. He explains that Balram’s condition is mental and not physical, he can be only cured with family’s support.
Balram reaches water well and drops pebbles in water. He then sees ladies washing utensils nearby and thinks how can he take bathe here, but it is Sai’s order, so he has to bathe here. He pours water repeatedly on himself. Women thinks what kind of a man he is to bathe in front of ladies. Balram thinks where is Sai, he sent him here and has not come yet. Sai from behind says he is here. Balram angrily asks why did he ask him to bathe here. Ladies warn to dare not speak to Sai like this. Sai says its okay and asks if he took bathe. Balram says he is bathing since he came here and even threw pebbles in water. Sai asks to take abck pebbles from water. Balram asks how can he do that. Sai does his leela/magic. Water comes up gushing and returns pebbles. Sai shows pebbles and asks if these are same pebbles. Balram says yes, but clean now. Sai says water washed away pebbles’ dirt, similarly he should wash away his past and move on. Balram says he gets depressed when he is compared to his father. Sai says he has his father as well as his mother’s elements in him and he is different than them, so he should not be depressed or angry when someone compares him to his father and instead take it as inspiration and work hard. Balram says he understood what he meant and pours water on himself repeatedly. A lady scolds how can he have bathe in open like this. Balram continues smiling looking at Sai.
Balram returns home. His mother asks why is he wet. Balram says he is fine with Sai’s help and will start his work work again. Sai enters. Pari thanks him for helping her brother. Balram says his spoilt wooden planks, how will he get wood for work. Atmaram lends him money and says they are family and it is their duty to help each other, now Balram can get wood and start work. Balram happily accepts money, but thinks he has gone to buy always with baba. Mother asks Atmaram to accompany Balram. Sai signals Atmaram who says Balram should go and buy wood himself. Sai says he should go outside Shirdi to get quality wood at reasonable prices. Balram reminisces his father taking him out of village and telling if they get better quality wood, they can serve their clients better and one should never cheat in their work. Out of flashback, he thinks Sai speaks like baba. Sai smiles.
Sai passes by Nirali’s house. Nirali stops him and says she prepared khichdi for the first time, Sai should try it. Sai says he will take it to Dwarkamayi. Nirali’s Mother gives him khichdi. Sai reaches Dwarkamayi. Bhola and Tatya join him and they all have khichdi. They joke if they are tasty khichdi, Jhipri is hot chilli pickle. Jhipri walks in. Sai says he distinguish people as sweet or salty.
Precap: Balram goes to buy wood. Shop owner realizes Balram is immature and quotes high price. Balram says it is very high. Owner shouts he is wasting his time and should bring his father.
