Sumitra brings milk for Mukund but he is not in the room. She checks Girija’s room but she isn’t there either. She tells her husband that Mukund is not at home. He asks her if she has checked the house properly. She affirms. He wonders how they their problems are increasing multi-fold. Vishwanath reasons that he is a small kid. He cannot go anywhere on his own. Let’s check. They ask everyone but no one has seen Mukund. Sumitra requests Sai to help them find Mukund. We cannot find him anywhere. Baiza Mausi said that you can look in every possible direction. Please find my son. He asks her to come with them.
Sumitra asks Sai where they are going. He gestures her to be quiet. Listen carefully. They hear someone singing a lullaby. Someshwar and Vishwanath come there s well. Sumitra goes closer and finds it to be Girija. Girija asks her son to call him Aayi. I am your Aayi, right? Call me Aayi. Sumitra tells her that she is Mukund’s Aayi. Girija says I gave you that position but you don’t deserve it. That’s why he isn’t Mukund but Gopal from today and I am his Aayi. My Gopal has returned to his Devki Ma today. I wont let him go anywhere now. Sumitra feels dizzy as she cries. Someshwar holds her just in time. Wake up, Sumitra. Please open your eyes. Vishwanath looks at his wife. Sai remarks that it is a sign of impending storm when the giver starts asking.
Sumitra cries as soon as she wakes up. Did you hear what Tai is saying? Someshwar tells her to understand Girija’s condition. She is in shock right now. Sumitra takes Mukund from Girija and pushes her hand away. Girija falls down. Sumitra steps back. He is my son! I wont give my son to anyone ever! Girija cries for Gopal. Vishwanath comforts her.
Sumitra runs to her room and closes the door from inside.
Girija insists upon getting her son back from Sumitra at any cost. Vishwanath stops her. you are doing the wrong thing. Come to your senses first. She asks him how a mother can come ot her senses after losing her son. He says I understand but you did it yourself. She admits that she made a mistake. Should I be punished for it my entire life? Ask Someshwar. He wont say no as he understands my position. Gopal is our son. He tells her to control herself.
Someshwar asks Sumitra to open the door. She complies after making sure that no one else is there apart from him. He tells her to control herself but she replies that she cannot give up her Mukund. I have showered him with all the love I had. He has become my life. I cannot go back to that stage again. He tells her that she is right at her place but try to understand Vahini’s situation. She asks him when they will find Shyam. I have waited for 5 years. I cannot give up this happiness again. He reminds her that they got this happiness because of Girija only. She agrees to die in return but she cannot give up her son. I had started to live a sad life but after what has been done, I wont let either her back out nor will I back out now!
Sai takes out a piece of cloth as He stops near a tree.
Girija and Vishwanath come home. Girija asks Sumitra for Gopal. Sumitra says I don’t know any Gopal. My son Mukund is sleeping inside. Girija says he is my Gopal before your Mukund. Sumitra stops her from going inside. Don’t forget that you gave me Gopal legally. We have all the papers. I am his mother legally. I have all the rights to make decisions for him. Anything with regards to Mukund will happen as per my wish. I can even go to police station if needed. Someshwar reminds her who she is speaking to. Sumitra says right now I am just a mother who is trying to keep her son safe. A mother can even fight with God for her baby. Girija seconds her. I am his real mother. I wont stop now. Sumitra says I never asked you to make that sacrifie but now that I have Mukund, someone can separate him from me only after my death. Girija agrees to take the matter to the court. She asks her husband to file the case. Everyone is shocked. Sumitra tells her husband she wants a decision to be made on this matter too. I want to see how the decision will not be in my favour. She tells her husband to start the preps for the proceeding as well. Both ladies leave. Someshwar asks his brother what they should do. Vishwanath says Baiza Mausi says that there is only one solution when all the doors are closed.
Sai advises the brothers to stop Girija and Sumitra from taking their family matter outside their house. The entire family loses when that happens. Vishwanath says we agree with you. We don’t want to take this matter to the court but how should we pacify the ladies? Someshwar says they aren’t willing to give up on Mukund. We understand their position. They are right in their situation. Sai disagrees. A decision which will be taken in court will prove one of them wrong. It would be best to sort this out in God’s court. Vishwanath says God’s justice takes time. We wont be able to hold them off for too long or they will go to court on their own. Sai suggests pushing it for tomorrow for one reason or another then. The situation might change tomorrow.
Sarkar laughs at the prospect of a close-knit family fighting because of the decision made by Fakir. I will prove it to everyone that His ideas are not good. Tejasvini appreciates him. You may make Him look down but I hope people wont end up saying that you forced someone to make a wrong decision. Sarkar says I am far sighted unlike others. This is the reason why I called you here. He defeats Banta in the game of chess. He asks Tejasvini to do something for him (in mute). My decision will be final but I don’t want anyone to have even the slightest doubt so you must set the narrative. Girija will be indebted to me. that entire family will be in my control if you manage to break Sumitra. It will be a first victory for me in breaking Sai’s devotee.
Shyam is awake. The old lady asks him to eat food so as to go to Shirdi quickly. He asks her when they will go to Shirdi. She tells him that she is poor. We will go as soon as we arrange money for the bullock ride. He cries thinking that it is happening as he lost the rudraksh. Sai had told me not to remove it specifically. Even Baiza Ajji had said that Sai helps everyone. I don’t think I will be able to meet my parents again. I feel that I will be able to unite with them once we find the rudraksh. She suggests looking for the rudraksh again. Maybe that will pave a way for you to go home soon. There is only one way from my home to the temple. It must be there somewhere. Shyam requests Sai to help him find the rudraksh.
Precap: Sumitra wakes up with a start at night. Sai says it is the last test. Let’s see who will win – the darkness of selfishness or the light of patience! Sumitra steps out of the house holding Mukund in her arms.
