Kulkarni thinks people are afraid of him again, he wants to see same fear in fakeer/Sai’s eyes. Sai waters plants and helps ants cross water clogging on road. Kulkarni passes by and yells at Sai that he must have realized his defeat, so he has knelt down in front of him. Sai hopes Kulkarni follows his duty as mukhiya/village head selflessly. Kulkarni yells that he doesn’t have to learn from him and warns that he will make Sai’s life hell and will make Sai think why was he born here. Sai says he is a wanderer and can stay anywhere, but his guru’s burial place is here, so he is attached to it. Kulkarni continues yelling at Sai and leaves on his palanquin.

Ganpath’s sister-in-law/SIL Gomthi comes to meet her sister and says she got a good news. Sister asks what is it. Gomthi asks where is jijaji. Sister says he is busy solving cases whole day. Ganpath reaches home and gets happy seeing Gomthi. Gomthi says her husband got a promotion, so she brought his favorite sweet. Sister says even Ganapth’s senior Bhosle is impressed with Ganapth’s work and will promote him soon. Gomthi says her husband got a traveling job, so their martial life is going well and she need not prepare food regularly. Ganpath walks to his room and keeps laddoos in his trunk. His wife informs him that Gomthi left and she has served him food. She sees poem scribbled on his hand and asks him to try for promotion instead of wasting his time on music.

At night, Ganpath is sound asleep when he hears Sai Baba playing bansuri and calling him Ganu. He wakes up and asks his wife is he heard any sound and someone calling him Ganu. Wife says it is his imagination and falls back asleep. Ganpath thinks only his mother used to call him Ganu, so he must be his imagination.

Precap: Sai asks Ganpath when will he come, he is waiting for him. Ganpath hears him and asks who is he. His colleague say they didn’t hear anyone.
