Dinanath apologizes to Sai. You are right. I did want to give you money due to my own selfish reasons. I wanted you to praise me and to treat me as your special devotees. My eyes have opened now. Dinanath’s pot fills up again. Sai asks him what he will do with this money. Dinanath wears his jewellery again and smiles. I have decided that I wont give you this money. I will give it to Nawaz with your permission. Nawaz tells him he does not want alms. Dinanath says it isn’t alms. I need honest workers like you for my work. I want to give you a job. This is the advance for it. My manager is coming to meet me tomorrow. Please go to Nashik with him. He will explain everything to you. Nawaz thanks Dinanath who tells him to thank Sai instead. He broke my false pride and introduced me to good deeds. He opened my eyes. Nawaz and Dinanath fold their hands gratefully. Sai says getting up after falling down is the last resort. There wont be a need to fall and get hurt if people learn their lessons beforehand.

Kids come to factory and notice Sai waiting for them outside. They greet Sai hesitantly. Sai blesses them and asks them to have kadha. Ragini says we are in a rush. Sai says it wont. You must drink kadha today. Bala lies that he had it at home. Sai requests him to drink some more for His sake. Kids drink it reluctantly. They cough and make faces. Latika asks Sai why He is feeding them such bitter kadha. Sai says it might be bitter but this will prepare you for what’s going to happen in future. Please drink it.

Kids come inside but don’t see any workers there. Bela wonders where the elders are. Prasad says they have left. I have sent them back. They wont come to work from today. Kids are taken aback. Bala asks Prasad who will make candies now. Prasad says you all will do all the work from today onwards. Their eyes widen in shock. Prasad thinks it is time to make them work now. They will very soon curse the day they had agreed to work here. It is too late though as their parents have stamped on the contracts. They have sold their kids to me on business terms. They are destined to work here for their entire life now.

Kids start working from the scratch. Bela burns her hand while working. Everyone gets concerned. Ragini asks her if it is paining a lot. Bela denies. It is neither hurting nor itching. How it is possible though as the utensil is very hot.

Sai is still standing outside and looks at the burn mark on His hand.

Kids are extremely tired as they step out of the factory. Chetan says Kaka said that this work wont be hard but I got tired after working today. I don’t feel like coming back here again. Bela points out that there are ups and downs in work. We should not give up because of heavy work. Things will be better tomorrow. Ragini wonders if they should tell their parents about today. Latika reasons that they are getting to earn money here and can skip school because of their work. We will not be able to earn or eat candies for free if we tell our parents anything. We will end up with books only. Bela seconds her. it is better to keep quiet instead of studying every day.

Kids reach home and don’t tell their parents anything. They all fall asleep without even eating dinner.

Next morning, kids tell Sai they had kadha yesterday only. Sai reasons that they will have to drink it every day as they come to work every day. They drink it half-heartedly.

Kids are in school but they are either too tired or distracted to focus on studies. On their way home, Bala says we remain tired since we have started working. I cannot even study after going back home. I am sure I will score 0 in exams. Chetan says I am going to fail as well. We are working though. How are studies important? Another kid asks if it is important to go to work. I feel like sleeping for the entire day. Ragini says that is alright but Sai’s kadha is scarier than that. They take a detour to avoid meeting Sai but they find Sai waiting for them with kadha on that route too.

Prasad is waiting for the kids at the factory. They get tensed. He asks them why they got so late. Work starts one and a half hour ago. Baji shares that they had an exam today. Prasad says this is your first and last time. Don’t make this mistake again. They nod. He tells them to pay for the delay. You must stay back and make up for the lost time. They are shocked. He says you study longer to cover the subject you are weak in. You have to do the same thing with work. He leaves.

Jhipri asks her husband if he saw Latika somewhere. She hasn’t come home yet. I don’t know why she got so late today. Other parents are also worried and check with the parents of other kids. They wonder why the kids are still in factory.

Kids are still working in the factory. Prahalad says let’s finish early so we can go home quickly. He slips on a banana peel and falls down. Other kids rush to help him. They remove the box that had fallen on his leg. Prahalad looks at his wound.

All parents gather and decide to go to factory to find out what could be the reason behind it. Kids come there just then. Bela shares that they had a lot to do. Elders think that they are working hard as it is their first job. They do not think much about it and take their kids home.

Baji asks Prahalad what he will say about his wound. Prahalad decides to hide his wound from his family or he will not be allowed to step out of the house. I hope this pain goes away soon.

Nanasaheb greets Sai. Sai tells him to bring a brick for Him. We will sit and talk then. Nanasaheb goes to bring it for Him.
