Radhika decides to tell Vinayak’s truth to everyone. She notices Varda looking worried. Varda shares that Vaman ji has been in shock. Radhika asks her what happened. Varda shares that a Kaka brought newspaper and it is written that our land will be given to English Government. Radhika says how can someone snatch our land and possessions from us. She reads the newspaper. There is no such news here. She goes inside to inform her FIL that no one can snatch his land and work from him. Entire family looks at her in shock. Her FIL asks her how she could find that out. You are illiterate! Radhika looks at everyone worriedly.
Sai notices Ma Saraswati’s idol left unattended under a tree and picks it up. Someone keeps roaming outside for Ma Saraswati while some threw her out of the house. She always comes to help her devotees. It is time to take Shirdi’s Saraswati to her temple.
Radhika’s FIL asks Radhika to answer how she could read the newspaper if she was an illiterate. Vinayak says I had that doubt already when she treated Baba. I am positive now. Varda says an illiterate made Balwant realize the importance of education. How can that be? We fell in her words. Aren’t you ashamed to trap a simple guy like Shripad? She tells Shripad to ask Radhika till what class has she studied. We did not hide anything! Radhika gives the answer – metric. Everyone is taken aback. Radhika says I wanted to tell you everything but Vaman ji’s health was! Her MIL says this was to be told before marriage. Radhika requests her to listen but her FIL says we asked you everything in the beginning. We were honest about Shripad too. What’s the point of studying if you have to cheat people in future? Everyone shoots questions at her. Varda and Vinayak smirk.
Flashback shows Vinayak noticing Radhika reading the receipt and counting money. I was right about her. She is not an illiterate. I must do something about it before she exposes me. He speaks to his family later on. They are hesitant but Vinayak tells them he has a plan. She will tell the truth herself then. Flashback ends. Varda complements her husband on his idea.
Radhika says I know you all are hurt to know the truth. I am still the same Radhika though who you were calling a good DIL in the morning. Her FIL says everything has changed for us now. We thought you are from a good family but they all seem to be cheaters. They have cheated us after all! Radhika agrees that they have been cheated. We were helpless. Someone else has cheated you more than me and my family. It is one of your own! Her MIL tells her not to divert the topic. We don’t trust you at all. Her husband says we don’t have such a big heart that we will allow the one who cheats us to stay in this house. I have decided that you wont stay in this house now!
Sai stops in his tracks in shock. He keeps the idol in Dwarkamai and turns to leave. Chihu Tai points out that everyone would be coming to attend pravachan. Sai reasons that there is no point of pravachan if people cannot do good karmas. He tells Srikanth to come to Dwarkamai in the morning.
Radhika requests her in-laws not to do it. It isn’t a crime to study! Radhika points out that he is the one who has cheated everyone. Shripad warns her not to utter another word against her brother. He is like a God to me. She says you must listen to me. Shripad raises his hand but Vinayak stops her. She is your wife after all. Shripad says this is the difference between what education does to a man and a woman. It makes women cheater and arrogant. Radhika disagrees and offers to explain. He says I am not educated like you. How will I understand you? This is the difference between you and us. We thought you were illiterate but no one tried to show you down. You showed us our place when you got a chance. Radhika tries to explain but her MIL says this was why we dint want an educated girl. You are trying to create a rift in the house. Shripad reasons that he gave her a chance before marriage to explain. You had your chance but you blew it up. Now I am on Baba’s side. He holds her hand, takes her outside and pushes her towards the gate. Sai holds her just in time. He looks at Shripad and his family. People are lucky where Lakshmi and Saraswati come in one avatar. You are one of the lucky ones yet you are disrespecting both. Shripad’s father says they have cheated us. Sai reminds him of his words. This girl will prove out to be the right one for this house. Shripad says I don’t want her as my wife. Please forgive me, Sai but I cannot bear to have an educated, arrogant girl like her in my house. Sai says she helped when your Baba’s health deteriorated. She looked after him and even took his responsibility. No one told her to do it yet she chose to do that. She walked till the godwon to give her food on time. where is her arrogance here? Arrogance is what is stopping you from seeing her truth. You will regret it one day. Shripad says I have broken my relation with her. She must leave this town, this house and from our lives! Vinayak smirks. We are not so stone hearted that we will let you go empty-handed. Keep some money. You will be able to go to Bombay with this. You can buy yourself a ticket as you are smart. Sai says truth can be hidden but it cannot be erased. It come out eventually. Everything has a right time though. Ram ji decides who will go where and when. It is His right! It will be good if He gets to keep it! He asks Radhika to come with Him.
Varda praises her husband. you managed to throw her out of the house in no time! Vinayak says we will be in danger till the time she is in Shirdi.
Someone reaches Shirdi late at night. He gets down at Khandoba temple and has covered his face using a blanket. He notices another cart coming. Policemen get down from that cart. They are headed to Dwarkamai. The guy hides.
