Mahesh walking in basti thinking about Savari and how basti people are treated and what Sai taught him. Mahesh sees Savari, he walks to her and says teaching you was good opportunity. Savari says I am thankful you changed my life. Mahesh says will you give me place in this changed life. Savari confused. Mahesh says I don’t know what you feel about me but I can’t stop thinking about you and your company has given me a different experience, experience of love and got a path to my life and I want to marry you. Savari in shock, she remembers what Jhipri said. Mahesh says I have thought on this very properly, Sai thought me we have to take every decision very carefully and I know we are grown up on different environments and I have thought of all consequences and if you say yes. Savari says this can’t happen and runsaway.
Balvant sees them and in shock.
Sai taking Bhiksha, he sees Savari pass by him crying. Mahesh follows, Mahesh sees Sai and asks did he see Savari, Sai says yes and says she looked upset, did you said something she wasn’t prepared for. Mahesh says yes, I did what you said, did I say something wrong, my motto isn’t wrong. Sai says I know but think about Savari, she isn’t wrong too, she is scared, she doesn’t see you and her equal, and your caste. Mahesh says I don’t believe in a this, Sai says but this society does and what about your family. Mahesh says my father will welcome her, he doesn’t believe in all this.
Sai says come with me to Mahesh. Sai gives Mal Pohe to a vendor and says its cooked in oil you sold. He doesn’t accept it and says I will eat it but I am not used to having oil cooked food and my stomach gets upset. Sai says no worries, next time I will get food cooked in ghee.
Balvant angry burns Mahesh’s books. Kusum tries to stop him but he is very furious. Kusum says what did you do. Balvant says I burnt the English culture these books have given him, I love Mahesh but after what I saw today I feel like burning him. Kusum says calm down, you must have misunderstood. Balvant says I saw him proposing thay lower caste girl. Kulkarni and Tejasvi walks to them.
Sai and Mahesh together. Sai explains Mahesh personal and professional life are different and can have different rules which a person follows. Sai explains Mahesh, till teaching etc everything is fine but when it comes to relationship things change, talk to your family first, you have to find reason behind Savari’s denial, may God bless you and Sai leaves.

A kid calls Sai for help, Kids show Sai, they plant a tree and it didn’t grow but is drying and ask Sai to fix it. Sai breaks the dired plant. Kida shocked.
Kusum says to Tejasvi, I know you have lot of questions, Tejasvi says I can’t even think but one thing is sure, Mahesh did what he has seen till now and so he thinks you will accept it. Balvant says I do everything for lower caste doesn’t mean I will accept them in my family, Mahesh didn’t understand such simple thing, how stupid of him. Tejasvi says he is smart but innocent and I am sure that girl has done something. Kulkarni says I agree, that lower caste must have trapped Mahesh in her talks. Balvant says I will throw her out of basti, even if that means everyone sees my true face.
Kulkarni says to Balvant, why loose calm, I am here. Kulkarni asks Tejasvi to not tell anything to Mahesh and asks Balvant to come join him to plan next.
Kids ask Sai why did he break it. Sai says look at this broken part carefully. Kids see insect on it. Sai says its termite, it kills the plant, even biggest of the trees.
Sai sees Balvant and Kulkarni and says to kids, if I wouldn’t break this part, it would kill whole plant, your tree will be fine because I found termite at right time, this tree has strong roots, I will come later. Kids ask Sai to stop. Sai says I have to fix one more tree from termite.
Savari crying, her mother says you did right thing by denying, good you denied and what Mahesh has its his problem but when you don’t feel anything why be upset, forget it. Savari is called outside. A man asks 100 cowdungs for tomorrow, near Gangadhar house, Savari’s mother says that too soon and far too. Savari says I will do it, we need money and this will get us good money.Her mother agrees and thinks good she will be busy in work and not think.
Mahesh reaches home. Tejasvi asks where were you, Mahesh asks whete is Baba I want to talk to him, Tejasvi says he is out for work.Mahesh says tell me when he comes. Mahesh walks in and calls Tejasvi inside.
Sai walks in basto worried.
Mahesh asks Tejasvi where are his books. Tejasvu says God she doesn’t leave books too and tells Mahesh there was theft in the house and Jewelry is stolen too and Kaka and Kulkarni went to lodge complaint.
Mahesh sees his medals are there but books are missing and is confused.
