Sai asks man if he wants his son to obey him, he should eat neem leaves. He force feeds man neem leaves. Man unable to bear too much bitter neem leaves pukes out. Sadashiv asks his wife Sunanda if she took medicines. She nods yes. He says Yamuna will take care of house while Sunanda can rest, but she has to arrange his pooja items as only she knows the order; when he returns home after holy bath in the morning, he needs pooja items ready. Mhalsapati says let Sunanda vahini rest. Sadashiv boasts that he and Mhalsapati are priests and scholars and earn all piety/punya, but women are not scholars, so they can at least arrange pooja items. Sunanda says if it is written in holy books, then her husband is right. Yamuna thinks why women cannot do pooja themselves and earn punya, why Sai says otherwise.
Man
asks Sai why did he force feed him neem leaves, he had to puke and empty his whole stomach. Sai says he learnt it from himself as he was using bitter words to scold his son; even bitter words will get out all the good thoughts in his mind and his son will develop a bitter relationship with him. Man apologizes Sai and says his father used to scold him bitterly and he used to feel bad, he does not want his son be bitter to his son, so from hereon he will be careful. He pampers his son and asks him to study now, he will take him out in the evening. Son happily agrees and goes in to play. Man thanks Sai for his help.
Early morning, Sunanda wakes up and arranges pooja items chanting Shiv Shiv. Yamuna opens eyes and notices her. Sunanda yawns and apologizes Bajrangbali. Yamuna asks why she is apologizing god for yawning. Sundanda says Bajrangbali will think Sunanda got tired serving him. Sunanda continues preparing poooja thali till morning. Sadashiv returns after holy bath and praises Sunanda that she did not do any mistake today, now he will go to temple. Mhalsapati takes him to temple and introduces him to 2 aides who will help him in cleaning temple and perform pooja. Sadashiv says good somebody wants to serve and says his wife gets up early morning to pray arrange pooja items, even they both will wake up early morning and wait outside his house to help Sunanda. Both aides agree. A man walks into temple and starts pooja. Sadashiv stops him and says only poojari has right to do pooja. Man says earlier pandit did not say this. Sadashiv orders aides to surround this place and let deities only in line. He order deities to leave their footwear at home and walk till temple, they can do at least this for god.
Sadashiv sees ghee in temple lamp instead of sesame oil and scolds Mhalsapati. He address people that everything in Shirdi is going against holy books and from hereon, he will use all the rituals according to holy book.
Precap: A man tells Appa that new pandit is very strict and is following holy books strictly. Sadashiv denies to accept a lady’s prasad.
