Mere Sai 17th December 2021 Written Update
Mere Sai 17th December 2021 Written Episode
Ashaba points at puranpoli. It is your favourite right? I knew that you will come back once I end my story. Nothing happens without any reason. You left before I reached here. There must be a reason. When I realized that I am here to tell your story, I understood that you will come back the moment I will finish my story. Sai says how could I not come. You haven’t eaten puranpoli without me till date. Ashaba says how could I. Puranpoli is ready for you. He feeds Sai. Everyone smiles. Sai feeds him as well. Srikanth ji says it is good that Sai is here. Someone will support us now in the road construction matter. Ashaba asks Sai why He called him here and made him tell this story. Sai says I dint do anything. It was a mother’s wish to see her son’s childhood. How could Ram ji refuse? Maybe that’s why He sent you. Baizama smiles. Ashaba says I am glad that I could meet you again. I will go now. Champa asks him to stay with them for a few days. Ashaba replies that he will surely come again if Sai would want him to. I have some other work now. I have met Sai and I should leave now. He hugs Sai and then leaves with his lamb.
Sai turns to go. Nanasaheb asks Sai where He is going now. Sai says it is where I must be. You should come as well. Everyone follows Sai.
Engineers are taking measurements. Villagers beg them not to break their home / shops but in vain. Sai reaches there with the villagers. Champa begins to tell Him about the problem but Sai tells her that He knows it already. Mhalsapati ji says have been waiting for you to return. Sarkar says it wont work this time. It is a decision by English Government and I vouch for it. I believe that the road must be constructed. You all should suffer as none of you listened to me. You all must bear the consequence now! Forgive Fakir, not even God can change this decision this time. They see villagers pleading the engineers. Bheeva requests Sai to save their homes. I was a slave but you helped me break my chains and settle down. Where else will we settle now and how? How will we survive if it means we will have to stay away from you?
A person requests Sai to save his shop. Sai tells him to get a grip of himself. The person reasons that he cannot see his hard work of years go down the drain in front of his eyes. This is my parent’s blessing for me. Please tell them to kill me before breaking this shop. He stands in front of the entrance and bars anyone from entering inside. Others plead Sai as well. Sai walks up to Sarkar. Look at your people. They are in so much pain. Don’t you feel bad seeing them thus? You are the leader of this village. Try to understand their pain. Sarkar warns Him not to instigate the villagers this way. I have arranged compensation already. No one will lose anything. I will get them a house. Sai asks him how it makes sense to break home and give them a house. Sarkar says a house is a house. It can be anywhere. Sai explains that a house is turned into home with love, respect, laughter and tears. It isn’t important that a full grown tree can be uprooted and planted somewhere else. The childhood of their kids is in their home. Would it be alright to move them from here? Sarkar glares at Sai. He tells villagers he does not want to argue with Fakir. As your well-wisher, I would advise you not to fall in His orthodox ideologies. Adapt and accept modernization. New technologies are developing. Roads are linking cities with villages. It is important for our village as well. Be progressive. I wont hear any negative thoughts. This road is for our benefit only. It isn’t right to stop this development. It will happen whether you want it or not. None of you will be able to stop it. This is the need of the hour.
Nanasaheb tells Sai that Sarkar is right this time. Kakasaheb, your well-wishers working in government offices and I have tried our best but nothing worked. Only Albert Matthews can do something. Sarkar asks Sai if He heard Nanasaheb. Sai tells Nanasaheb this is the only way now. Make a group and approach Mr. Matthews. Tell him to look at it from everyone’s perspective and solve their concern. Nanasaheb asks Sai if He thinks he will agree. Sai says there is no harm in trying. Plus, he is human being too. Sarkar tells them to go ahead. I will keep a celebration at my home if you succeed. Let me know if you fail and get beaten up in the process. I will send medicine for you. He laughs as he walks away.
Sai asks Nanasaheb where they can meet Mr. Matthews. Nanasaheb shares that he is still in town. Sai advises villagers to start now. You will be able to return by night. Everyone nods. Sai notices Nanasaheb tensed and asks him if something is bothering him. Nanasaheb says I have seen growth within India and outside. We might stop it for now but it will start again in future. Till when will we be able to stop this development? Would it be the right thing to do? Sai says development meant for others is right. Is the development which makes the rich richer right? I am not against the construction of road. I am only questioning the intention behind it. Jungles are being cut down in the name of development these days. The homes of rich are becoming grander while the homes of poor people are shrinking. This development will call for doom. We have to see in which direction this development will take us now.
Sarkar rues that he would have succeeded if Fakir hadn’t returned for few more days. Santa wonders what if Albert agrees with their request. Banta is sure it wont happen. I don’t know what the villagers will lack as Sarkar has made grand promises already. Sarkar slaps them. I am not giving anyone anything. Santa reminds him of how he received money from government to give to villagers as compensation. Sarkar says it does not matter. I am the one whose word rules in Shirdi. He shows papers. I have invested that property and money already. There is nothing left for those illiterate villagers. Santa reminds him of his words. Sarkar says I did agree to give them money and land but I dint specify how and where it will be. I must hide them from Keshav. He will otherwise complain to Fakir right away. The road will be built and I will earn profit on it. I will the throw Fakir’s devotees out of Shirdi! Banta asks him what if Albert agrees to their request. What if he speaks of this property? Sarkar says they aren’t easy to convince. Albert will simply throw them out!
Precap: Sai says a road can be built outside Shirdi too. Albert agrees. You will make it with the help of your people. If it does not happen then 2 roads will be made to cross from Shirdi. People will lose their house and compensation then. Sai accepts the condition shocking everyone.
