Sai makes Yeshwanth panditji sit and gives him water mixed with holy ash. Yeshwanth consumes it and tells he had informed Mhalsapathi that he will be coming on the given date and had left for Shirdi 1 day before when he dacoit Gajraj pleading to help one of his unconscious aide. Yeshwanth gets down his cart and sends his driver to get water. Gajraj asks where is he going. Yeshwanth describes that he is Shirdi’s Maruthi mandir poojari and is returning after spending 1 month vacation home. Gajraj asks if temple gets lots of money as gift. Yeshwanth says yes. Gajraj kidnaps him and insists to write a letter that he is sending his relative as interim pandit till he returns. Gajraj tells dacoit if he is thinking of stealing in Shirdi, he cannot as Sai will not let anyone steal even a penny out

of Shirdi.
Out of flashback, Yeshwanth says he escaped from Gajraj because of Sai’s help. Yeshwanth asks if Sai was ruining his plan repeatedly. Sai smiles. Villagers say they should beat dacoit Gajraj to pulp. Sai says Gajraj should be given a chance to reform. Gajraj says who is he to reform him. Sai says because he is from a good family and his father was a man of principles. Gajraj goes into flashback where he insists his father to demand high wages for his bullock cart service and father says he will not take the money he doesn’t deserve or earned and will take wages according to his work. Gajraj says he will not follow his father’s principles and becomes dacoit to earn money for his sister and mother. Sai says his sister and mother doesn’t even remember them. Gajraj says he will return to his sister and mother soon and they will wholeheartedly accept him. Sai asks him to look at fire and he sees his mother praying god that her daughter’s alliance is fixed in a good family and hopes Gajraj does not come to ruin their happiness. Gajraj cries hearing that.

Gajraj repents for his sins and decides to work hard and return everyone’s money he looted. Sai asks what about the trouble people faced because of him, he did not take Yeshwanth’s money, but the trouble he gave Yeshwanth is intolerable. Gajraj says he cannot undo their troubles, but he can surely reform himself via Sai’s help and asks Sai to describe story behind his brick as everyone are eager to hear about it.
