Mehek Chahal out of Kavach?

Today, media was abuzz with reports of actress Mahek Chahal opting out of Colors’ much-awaited show Kavach, owing to an accident. It was reported in the various sections of the media that she would not be able to continue with the show.

But the actress has spoken exclusively to us and revealed the exact scenario. Says Mahek, “I injured myself while doing my regular kick boxing regime. I have a fracture above my knee and a ligament tear as well.”

When we asked her whether she will be doing the show or not, she said,”My injury is very serious. My doctor has advised me complete bed rest. But I will still be reporting for my shoot tomorrow for a few hours. And depending on my state, we will make a final decision.”

Mahek plays the main antagonist in the show. And from the promos of the show that have gone on air so far, Mahek has been tremendously appreciated by one and all.

So, it would be extremely disheartening for fans of the actress if the actress has to quit the show.
