Manit Joura, Garv of Khamoshiyaan undergoes eye surgery

Manit Joura is back with a bang with Star Plus’ Mujhse Kuchh Kehti….Yeh Khamoshiyaan wherein he essays the role of Garv. However, the actor had a personal setback recently when he had to go through an eye surgery (ICL procedure) in order to correct his vision. Due to the over usage of lens, Manit had a major eye sight problem which got worse when the freezing temperature in Germany (where he had gone for vacation) affected his eyes. The actor was advised to have the ICL procedure done as early as possible.

Accordingly he got one eye operated on 19 November and the other on 23 November (which coincidentally was the date when he entered Khamoshiyaan).

Talking about his eye surgery, Manit stated, “Yes, it is true that I underwent an eye surgery recently. I could not watch my entry episode of Khamoshiyaan as I was in the ICU then. I am fit and fine now, and rearing to go. My character in Khamoshiyaan, that of Garv has been accepted well by audience and I have been getting good feedback.”

On his return to shoot, he said, “As of now, I am in Delhi with my parents post the surgery. I am being pampered by my mother (smiles). I have an appointment with my doctor in the next few days, after which I plan to resume shoot.”
