Scene 1
Papa takes out the money from Mangal’s account. She thanks him. He says that’s your saved money. She’s saved a good amount. Kusum says to ask her who taught her saving. I raised her. Mangal says that’s true. You gave me strength. Kusum says don’t forget this money anywhere. Buy her jewelry for her. Lakshmi says her mom had bought her jewelry already. Kusum says that’s great

Lashmki reads the letter in shock. Karhtik says if she wanted money she would have married Nitin. He’s very rich. He was after her. You have hurt her self-respect. Lakshmi calls Karthik. He says please don’t get me wrong. that letter.. he says yes I am coming. Karthik says she wants me to meet. Yo ruined everything. He leaves.

Mangal calls Shanti. She says we have to start preparing for Lakshmi’s wedding.
Shanti says should we sell this house? Even if it’s her house I won’t let you sell it. Mangal says we don’t have to. I am talking about the jewelry her om left for her. Shanti says I don’t have those. I gave them to you. Mangal says when? She says I got your wedding jewelry made from those. Mangal is shocked. She says what? You neve told me. Mangal is worried. Kusum says you have cut your hand. She puts band-aid on it. Kusum says where is your focus? Why are you so worried? We are all here to handle things about the wedding. Let’s go to your house. we will go there and check her jewelry and get it polished. Mangal cries. Kusum asks what happened. Mangal tells her that the jewelry isn’t there anymore. Kusum says what? Where did they go? Did shanti sell them? Did someone steal? Who has them? Mangal says you. Kusum is shocked. She says what are you saying? When did you give me? Mangal says I gave them to you. Kusum says sare you out of your mind? Mangal says those are my wedding jewelry. I didn’t know I was bringing Lakshmi’s jewelry with me. Kusum shoves her hand adn says you lied to us all. You came to our house wearing Lakshmi’s mother’s jewelry? You didn’t even tell me. She had right on that ewlery. Her mom left them for her not yu. Mangal says mom never told me. Shanti says how ow can your mom stoop? She even lied to us. This is disgusting. Mangal says I know she did wrong. I am sorry on her behalf. Kusum says how many times can I forgive? Thank God we found it before Lakshmi’s wedding. A mother who can do this to her daughter, I can imagine what she does to others. I was decimated by your family. now I feel like I made a mistake by getting Karthik engaged in your family. There’s no shame in your family. She cries.

Lakshmi says you wrote how much my support matters to you. you wrote what you wnt and wished for. It was important for me to know. I had to know what would keep us together. We shouldn’t do this marriage under any pressure. I was scared in the beginning but I am happy after knowing thetrutht. I am with you. Karthik hugs her and says thank you.

Scene 2
Mangal starts making a list of things they’d need for the wedding. She says it is already 6 lacs. Kusum coms there. She asks is there anything troubling you? She returns her the jewelry and says I know your savings wont do much. She returns her the jewelry. SHe says this is the jewelry you came ot our house with. I cant complaint about your mother but I cant let my mother wear someone else’s jewelry. She could have just told us she didn’t have money. What can one say to her. You wont wear this jewlrry anymore. Give them to the person who these belong to. Only she has right on her.

Karthik says thanks for understanding me. I am sorry. I am sentimntal. He says tomorrow is mom’s birthday. You have to come. She says okay I will come. Karthik says my friends will also be there. All spotlight will be on you. He says thank you. You took all my worries away. Hee says come let me drop you. Karthik is happy she understood the letter. Lakshmi feels lucky to have a life partner like him.

Precap: Kusum is selling jewellery with Adit. Jeweler tells them that the jewellery is fake. Kusum gets angry and says that this is not possible these are my daughter in laws wedding jewellery.
Adit creates a scene at Mangal’s house for fake jewellery, her parents tell them they didn’t give fake jewellery.
