Scene 1

In the evening, Mangal call Adi but he doesn’t pick. Lakshmi says he’s not picking? Mangal says he has an important meeting. I should go. She says Lakshmi don’t be sad. It all happens for our good. A guy sings in the boat in middle of lake. Mangal says he will give workds to your silence. He will be the poem of your songs. Lakshmi asks Mangal to go. Mangal says he will come soon and ask for your hand. The guy proposes a girl at the boat. It’s al decorated. The girl gets happy. He kisses her hand. It’s Karthik. He gives her a gift. She says you remembered? He says yes, we met here for the first time one year ago. She says second anniversary. She says you made me wait for a year. He opens the box, it has earrings. Mangal thinks about Adi. She says he must be angry. Should I call him? Kusum says the milk is boiling. She says sorry. Kusum says I know you’re stressed. Papa says she’s worried.
