Scene 1
Mangal brings tea for Kusum. She says have some sweets, tell me the taste. Kusum says it must be okay. MAngal says you taught me everything. Mangal says you taught me like a mother. You gave me all the skill. Kusum says I know you do everything with your heart. Yyour biggest mistake is that you’re too good. Good things catch evil eye. You made your family and home with love. You’ve a goo husband and kids. I am scared you might catch eveil eye. Mangal says whose eye? Kusum says you’re too innocent. I have kept that evil eye away from you.

Somiya asks can you give me the respect Mangal has? I will be isnutled and threatened. No one will respect me.Adit says you want her status right? We will get married today. She’s shocked. Mangal says I will keep an eye as well. Kusum says did Lakshmi go back? SHe must be thinking I get angry. Mangal says she loves you. She’s always inspired by you. She was running late so she left. Kusum says it’s fine.

Adit says let’s go get married. That’s what you want right? I want that too. I will give what you want. I will give you status of my wife. Somiya cries. Adit says why are you sielent? Because you can’t take care of the house. You can’t manage a house and that responsibility. Taking care of my parents, sending my kids to school, taking care of the house, can you do all that? For you, your career is important. I respect that. But how can yo blame me for that? Why do you compare yourself with that Mangal? What does she have? My surname? Sindur? But you have me. Shanti exercises to lose her weight. Lipika says why did you let Lakshmi go? Who will make breakfast now? Bhushan says what will you do when she gets married? Lipika says to Shanti please ensure she never gets married. Shanti says Kusum is forcing it, I wont let it happen.

Kusum asks Adit over dinner how was your day in office? He says it was good. He asks where are kids? Mangal says they are sleeping. He asks is this new frame? Mangal says no I refurbished the old one. he says nice. He says sit and eat. Mangal sits next to Adit. She gets happy. Kusum says my son can never get off track.

Kusum calls Gayatri. She says Jiya’s chapter is over now. Lakshmi is the kind of girl you always wante.d Gayatri says you were always right. Lakshmi is a very nice girl. Sanjana hears it. She’s shocked. She says Gayatri also wants a girl like Mangal so both sisters can control their DILs. Kusum says ths will be the best decision for Mnagal. I will tell Mangal as well. Mangal asks what happened? Kusum says I have fixed Lakshmi’s wedding. Mangal says what? She gets excited. Mangal asks who is the guy? Kusum says you know him, you know his mother as well. Magnal asks who? Kusum says my sister. Mangal says Karthik? She’s shocked. She gets very happy and emotional.

Scene 3
Karthik runs adn thinks about Jiya. He recalls all she did. Lakshmi is on the cycle. She sees a man drop his wallet. She runs to stop him but he runs away. Lakshmi comes to Karthik. She says you dropped your wallet. She says what are you doing in this area? He says it feels peaceful. She says you dropped yu wallet. You must have lost it. He says I am losing a lot these days. Lakshmi says Mangal told me yu lost something. Did you find it? He says no. I don’t want it anymore. Sh say when we lose something, we find something better. God always replaces with better. What we already have is more important. He says you’re right. Thank God I met you here, I feel better. She leaves.

Mangal tries to call Lakshmi. Kusum asks what happened? She says Lakshmi isn’t picking the call. Kusum says tell her we’re bringing the propslal tomorrow. I’ve told gayatri as well. She says your family has to do all the preps. Mangal says you found the best guy for Karthik. Kusum says do Mangal calls Shanti. She says stay ready to welcome me with band baja. I am from the guy’s family this time. Shanti asks what? She says I am bringing a proplsa for my sister. Shanti asks who is the guy? She says Karthik. Shanti says wow, our fate has opened. Mangal says we will come at 10 tomorrow. For Lakshmi’s porpsal. Shanti says so it’s for Lakshmi not Lipika. Shanti says get Lakshmi ready by 10;. I didn’t tell Lakshmi yet. Shanti says I will tell her. don’t worry nothing willgo wrong. Shnati says I will never let this happen.

Adit is shocked to hear it. He says to Kusum are you joking? Right? Karthik is a super star. Kusum says yes waht’s the problem? Adit says I aam happy. I always wanted this. We know both the kids, perfect couple like me and Mangal. Wowo mom. This will be fun. He asks Mangal are you happy? She says yes a lot. He says get Lakshmi ready by yourself tomorrow, just like you dress up. Kusum says we will do everything. She says you’ve to come with us. Adit says I have work. I can’t go. But we already know Karthik so it’s a yes from me. Kusum says I am glad you’re happy. Adit is happy in heart that Karthik will also suffer like him and will have to tolerate Lakshmi like he tolerates Mangal.
