Scene 1
Mangal and Lakshmi come to Kusum. Kusum says I am fine. Mangal says Gayatri looked so angry. She didn’t even talk to us and you’re crying. Kusum says leave me alone. She cries. Mangal says I don’t like seeing you this way. I can never tolerate things going bad between me and Lakshmi. That’s how sisters are. Kusum says there’s no such thing. You both should also have boundaries. You both might get toxic for each other too. She says leave me alone.

Karthik asks Gayatri did you get Kusum’s place? I could come with you as well. She says Kusum is upset. She doesn’t like being hasty but Prema ji isn’t listening either. We can’t make everyone happy.
