Maleeka R Ghai to play a Parsi woman in an episodic of Sony TV’s Adaalat
The pretty and lovely Maleeka R Ghai, who is currently seen in Sony Entertainment Television’s Desh Ki Beti Nandini, has bagged an important role in one of the upcoming episodes of the channel’s popular crime and law based show Adaalat (Contiloe Telefilms).
And interestingly the woman who has been playing Indian woman in all her recent show will don a character of a Parsi woman in this episode. Focusing on the life of a normal Parsi family, Maleeka will play Nilofer, a typical housewife who will not have a cordial relationship with her husband. And suddenly her husband will die in an accidental fire in his antique shop and all fingers will point towards her as the main accused.
This is when KD Pathak (Ronit Roy) will come to her rescue and decide to fight her case and solve the mystery of her husband’s death.
Talking on the same, Maleeka shares, “I was really apprehensive of taking up this role since it’s difficult to get a Parsi dialect. But thankfully having observed them over the years, somewhere it was stuck unconsciously on my mind and I easily managed to play it.”
“This being a grey character I was quite excited and I really felt a new high being dressed up so differently. It’s after long that I get to wear western dresses and I am really having a great time shooting for the show,” she adds.
The episode will air sometime this month.
