Om requests that Ashish contact Maitree in order to feed the baby. Om and Kusum ask Sona to contact Maitree about the baby. Maitree shows up. Ashish requests that Maitree comfort the baby. Maitree is powerless and takes the baby. She comforts the baby and forces him to drink the milk, after which she hands the baby over to Ashish and prepares to leave. Kusum and Om stop Maitree and ask her to stay with them for the baby. Baby cries once more. Sona is concerned about the baby and allows Maitree to stay in the house. She walks away. Kusum hands the baby over to Maitree, telling her that the baby is now her responsibility. Maitree takes the child. In Maitree’s grip, the baby stops crying. Maitree asks Ashish to not ask her to leave. Ashish vows that she will not be humiliated again.
Maitree later inquires as to why the baby is not sleeping. Maitree recalls a time when she was with Nandini and stopped the baby from kicking Nandini by singing their childhood song as Lohri. She tries again, and the baby falls asleep. On the other hand, Nandini is given another opportunity. Ashish thanks Maitree and Nandini for their help with the baby. Maitree requests that Ashish remain near the baby while she sterilises the bottle. Ashish accepts the bottle and declares that he will do it.
Neighbors on call advise Dinesh’s wife to think about Maitree’s remarriage. Dinesh’s wife shares it with him. Sona enters the baby’s room. She takes a seat next to the baby. Maitree says I know that you forgive me. Sona says she will never forget what she did. “Today I allowed you to come here for the baby, and tomorrow I will take care of the baby, and once he gets used to us, you can leave,” she says. Maitree expresses a desire for her baby to spend time with his grandparents and father. Sona considers bothering Maitree.
The following day, Sona takes the baby from Dinesh and Kusum’s hands and begins pampering it. Sona says she will give the baby milk. Sona is informed by Kusum that Maitree has already fed the baby. Sona locks her gaze on Maitree. She requests that they contact her if the baby becomes hungry. Then again, who doesn’t?
Ashish brings a bouquet to the hospital. He notices Vasundhara in Nandini’s room and inquires as to what she is doing. Vasundhara says you forgot about my daughter seeing your son, so I’m looking after her. Nandini, according to Ashish, is aware of how much I adore her. He gives her a red rose to express how happy his family is for their baby’s arrival. Vasundhara mocks him, claiming he has no idea Nandini likes yellow flowers. Nandini’s tastes shifted after marriage, according to Ashish, and you were unaware. He’s getting ready to leave. Vasundhara says no need to go to take Saransh’s postpartum report as it’s here. Om and Kusum are relieved to see Sona content with the baby.
Sona requests that Kusum bring oil and that she massage her. Maitree requests that she refrain from doing so. Vasundhara informs Ashish that she has Saransh’s reports and hands them over to him, saying that he can now learn about his brother’s reality. Ashish is taken aback by the report. Vasundhara says it’s clearly stated in the report that Saransh’s blood sample contains drug traces, so don’t act as if you didn’t know and imagine how Maitree will react if she finds out. According to Ashish, the report is incorrect, and you must have changed it in order to exact revenge on me. Vasundhara confirms the report and instructs him to prepare for incarceration.
PreCap: Vasundhara is talking to Maitree on a call. She tells Maitree that she’s feeling sorrow, because she doing a lot for them, and still they didn’t told her about Saransh. Maitree inquires, what about Saransh? Vasundhara says that Saransh was a drug addict, and even the medical reports clarify that. Vasundhara says, even Ashish knew that. Maitree gets shocked.
