Janvi is desperately searching for a way out of the file room. Aryaman tells her that no one is in the court, but Janvi insists she has to get home before child welfare services take Kian away.

Pushkar accuses Reva and Dadi of betraying him by trying to warn Janvi about his scheme. He takes away their phone, saying it will stay with him. Dadi warns that child welfare services will take Kian away if they find out he’s alone, thinking Janvi is an irresponsible mother. Pushkar locks them in a room and leaves.

Aryaman tries to calm Janvi. He breaks the rods on the window and tells Janvi to step on him to escape. Janvi agrees and climbs out.

Pushkar rings Janvi’s doorbell. Kian opens the door, allowing Pushkar to enter and turn on the gas knob. Pushkar believes this will make child welfare services take Kian away.

Janvi tries to get a lift home, and a car stops for her.

Aryaman finds a file and realizes it can help him get to Srikanth Shukla.

Kian sees someone at the door and looks through the peephole, spotting Raina with a few women. He opens the door and Raina says the women will ask him some questions.

The child welfare service ladies ask Kian if he’s alone. He says yes and explains that Janvi taught him everything and he only opened the door because they were with Raina.

The women smell the gas, and Raina complains about a gas leak. Pushkar turns off the gas. Raina and Pushkar accuse Janvi of being a negligent mother just as Janvi arrives home.

The child welfare ladies ask Janvi why she was late. Ujwala appears and says Janvi was late because she was helping her.

In a flashback, Aryaman calls Ujwala, asking her to help Janvi, explaining that Janvi is in trouble because of him. Ujwala tells the child welfare ladies that Janvi is a great employee and a great mother. Raina interrupts, saying Janvi left the gas stove on. Janvi insists she turned it off before leaving.

Aryaman arrives in disguise as a gas company worker and apologizes, claiming he left the stove on by mistake. He signals to Kian that he is Aryaman. The child welfare service ladies accept this explanation but express concern about Janvi leaving Kian alone. Janvi explains she is a single parent who needs to work to support them both. Kian tells the ladies how much Janvi cares for him and mentions that Janvi is going to get married for his sake. Hearing this, the ladies leave, reassured that Janvi’s future husband will help care for Kian.

Ujwala confronts Raina, asking why she is causing trouble for Janvi. Raina says tomorrow is the match between Prince and Kian and leaves. Ujwala realizes Raina wants the last spot on the team for Prince at any cost.

Kian tells Janvi that the disguised man was Aryaman. Aryaman removes his disguise and explains he overheard about the gas leak and rushed over in the get-up. Janvi thanks Aryaman for his help.

Precap: The School Principal says to Janvi that, we are expelling Kian from the school. Janvi says this is unfair. A parent of one of the students says that this is the decision taken by us as parents, your kid doesn’t have his father’s name on his birth certificate and we don’t want such a kid to study with our kids. The Principal says to Janvi that we will accept Kian if you tell us his father’s name. Aryaman sees the whole scenario inside the principal’s office
