Scene 1
The camp starts. The leader says Afghans and Britishers keep attacking the country. This camp trains soldiers to protect this country. Whoever wins here will win the title of Star of the nation. Trainees here later become sardars of different regions. Its not easy to get enrolled here. Today trainees will be tested for this camp.
He sets up competitions between different boys. Ghulab beats his opponents down. Veer Singh comes there and hides behind people. Ranjit is next. He and Ghulab fight. Ghualab recalls Sahib saying everything is fair to win. Ghulab hits Ranjit in the sensitive area. Everyone is dazed. He keeps hitting Ranjit. The soldier stops Ghulab. The fight starts again, Ranjit throw Ghulab away.
A soldier sees Veer leaving. He goes after him but it was someone
else.

The second competition is to target the spot with arrow. Ghulab does well in this one as well. Ranjit plays well as well. They both hit three three targets.
The next one is darting with arrows. Sahib says Ghulab will win this one.
Ghulab’s arrow his bull’s eye. Ranjit comes next. He can’t focus on the target. Ranjit downs the arrow. A sardar says Ranjit can’t focus from one eye. Another says I don’t think he can do anything. Sada says in heart one eye is already closed. He can’t do anything. Mehtab says Ranjit will win today. Gurwaksh says go ahead Ranjit. Ranjit recalls Mai told him, the best targeters close their eyes before targeting. Ranjit hits the bulls eye in center. Everyone appreciates him.

A sardar says with one eye he did so well. Jai says I am sure Ranjit will get enrolled for sure. Mahan says he is here to serve his country. He has to be first. The man says judges are evaluating the performances and will let you all know the results. Mehtab says Ranjit will be selected for sure. He should get a gift.

Scene 2
Dal Singh who is judge is having lunch. Sahib sits next to him. He says you will only eat Guavas or wanna try something good? Dal Singh says are you taking my test too? Sahib says everyone will listen to what you decide for the training. You should get one guava, you should get gardens of it. Now you decide what you want.

The results announce. The man says shortlisted kids are, Peepal, Suhawa, Aziz, Hari Ram, Ghulab Singh and last one is Ranjit Singh. Mahan smiles. He says are the judges satisfied with the list? Two say yes. Dal Singh says I am not. I am not satisfied with the results. One of them can’t be selected. He walks towards the boys and stands in front of Ranjit. He says Ranjit can’t be chosen. Everyone is dazed. He says this is future of this nation. We will train every trainee here in war. Ranjit doesn’t deserve to be in this list. Everyone is shocked. Ranjit can’t see from one eye and its a weakness that makes his ineligible. sahib smirks.

Precap-Mahan says Dal Singh is right. Ranjit doesn’t deserve to be part of this camp. He won’t be part of any army. We won’t compromise the security of this country at any cost.
