Mahakumbh 25th December 2014 Written Episode

The Episode starts with Maai thinking about Rudra and how he saved Udiya. She looks at Udiya’s current state. He is all burnt, but still has confidence and strength. He says the Dohas and she smiles listening to him. She asks why did he go there. He asks did she keep wood for him or not. She asks him to tell her who did all this. He says Pandey. She gets angry. He says don’t say this to Rudra. She asks why. He says he has his heart already burdened, if he knows I have taken his death, he will lose from within. She cries. He asks where is Rudra, call him, I want to see him once and maybe I can… She says stop, I will get him.

The scene shifts to Poland’s church. Cuba and his mum sit in the church for long, and pray. They start leaving. Shivanand stops them. She asks what do you want. He says I want a small help, make me meet Indian consulate, I want to go back to my country, I understand you are with your husband only for Cuba, and I m doing all this for Rudra. She says fine, I will take you to Indian consulate. Rudra sits alone. Tiwari says doctor said to keep Udiya in hospital, but Maai wants to keep him here. Maai comes to him and says Udiya is conscious. Tiwari gets glad. She asks about Rudra. He says he is sitting at Ganga bank. Maai goes to Rudra and sees him crying. She says your Baba got conscious. Rudra runs to meet Udiya.

Udiya takes his son’s name and is in immense pain. Rudra comes to him, and says Baba…… Udiya says Rudra, people leave families in Kumbh, but you have held my hand in Mahakumbh, as if Lord has forgiven me for leaving someone’s hand. Rudra asks whose hand. Udiya says bring my jhola/bag and asks him to open it. He shows his family pic. Rudra sees his family. Udiya says show it to me. Rudra shows his son and wife’s pic. Udiya recalls how he has lost his son being unable to save them from sinking on the river. He asks his son and wife to forgive him, and cries.

Rudra comes out crying. Tiwari asks what happened. Rudra gives him the pic and folds hands. Tiwari holds his hand. Cuba and his mum stop midway on a bridge, and Cuba takes a wish lock, asking Shivanand to tie it. He says I wish your wish come true. Shivanand makes a wish and throws the key in the river. Shivanand hugs Cuba. The lady smiles. They leave. Shivanand says if Lord give me chance to help you, I promise I will not back out. They are stopped by her husband. The lady asks Cuba not to come out of the car. Her husband takes the gun, and confronts them. He says so you are her BF and asks since when are you having this affair.

Shivanand says she was just helping me, nothing else. The lady beats her husband to death. She cries. Shivanand and Cuba look on. The goons come there and fire in the air. Shivanand asks them to run. The lady and Cuba cover up behind the car. The goon says you are lucky that we have to take you alive, I can’t kill you, but I can hurt you. Shivanand beats them. The head goon says you have to die now, and Shivanand kills him too. A helicopter comes and Shivanand surrenders. Grierson laughs. Shivanand asks Grierson to let the lady and Cuba go safe, and he will surrender. They take Shivanand in the copter and leave. Shivanand waves bye to Cuba.

Rudra leaves with Tiwari to find Udiya’s family. Maai hears Udiya calling her and runs. He says my soul should leave, why is it not leaving. Maai asks someone to get Gangajal. Udiya says Gangajal won’t wash my sins, now my soul will be freed when she forgives me. Rudra looks at the pic being in the train. Maai asks who, what are you saying. Udiya says about his wife. Rudra asks people about Udiya’s family. Udiya says I have held Rudra’s hand as I have left Vishnu’s hand in the flood, I run away being afraid.

Rudra and Tiwari look for Udiya’s wife. Maai makes Udiya have Gangajal. Udiya asks about Rudra, I can’t be alive till morning. Rudra finally finds Udiya’s wife and shows the pic. She breaks down. Rudra holds her. Udiya takes Rudra’s name and asks where is he. Maai says I don’t know where he went. Rudra comes in and Maai asks where was he. Rudra hugs Maai and tells something in her ears. She is shocked. He turns and shows the door.

Precap:
Maai asks Rudra to do last rites of Udiya. Swami ji is still after Rudra. Maai scolds Punnu. Grown up Rudra is shown standing on the bridge as before, ready to jump in the river.

    Today’s episode of Mahakumbh was by far the best episode so far. There wasn’t a single second that was filled of emotion and intensity. The credit goes to the wonderful cast especially Robin Ji, Seema Ji, Manish and Siddharth and the fantastic crew including Utkarsh, Arvind Ji, Rekha Ji, Anirrudh and Nitin. Overall the whole episode truly blew me away. From the beginning all the way to end I was in tears and had goosebumps. Robin Ji was by far the shining star of the episode. His performance was mind blowing. Each and every scene he gave justice to. His expressions, dialogue and actions were all spectacular. In the beginning he perfectly portrayed his happy, jovial attitude as he smiled through his painful and state. And then you could see the transition of his character to a more guilty and given up attitude. The way he continuously spoke of death and welcomed it hurt us even more. It really pained us not only to see Udiya Baba in such a state but the way he spoke and his meaningful and emotional dialogue. His longing to see Rudra and to apologize to Vishu’s mom as he felt that it was his fault Vishu was no longer with him. The way he recalled his memory of losing Vishu at the Kumbh Mela and retelling it to Rudra and Mai Mui. The way he told Rudra to look through his bag and find the picture of him and his sweet family. Each and every moment was painful, yet so moving. Robin Ji is truly a natural, renowned and venerated actor. He can portray any emotion or character so perfectly. He is very talented and his skills are clearly visible in his astounding performances. We are all very blessed to have witnessed this living legend in Mahakumbh. It will greatly impact me, the show and it’s characters once Udiya Baba dies. He has equally contributed to the magic of this show with his outstanding acting skills and his character. Siddharth also did a stellar job depicting the character of Rudra and all of his emotions in today’s episode. I especially loved the scene where was told that Udiya Baba had gained conscious by Mai Mui and he immediately smiled and ran towards his father. His expressions were also superb in the scene where Udiya Baba tells him to look through the bag. Seema Ji also did a excellent job illustrating the pained, worried and concerned wife. Her expressions and dialogue were incredible. The pain, concern and worry were clearly evident in Seema Ji and Siddharth’s rocking performances. As for Manish, he also left me spell bound with his awesome performance. My favorite scene in Poland was when Cuba told Shivanand that if you put a lock on the bridge and threw the key in the water your wish would be fulfilled. I love the bond Shivanand and Cuba. He really loves and cares for him. He sees his Rudra in him whom he longs for. That was really sweet how he picked him up and swung him around. This just proves how much he loves children and how he misses Rudra. I just pray that he is united with his son very soon. Standing ovation for the masterminds behind this wonderful episode Utkarsh and Arvind Ji. You once again left the viewers speechless. Both of you are very talented and skilled in your professions. You make Mahakumbh what it is. You are the reason behind Mahakumbh’s success. God Bless the whole cast and crew with success, happiness and many accolades. With each passing day Mahakumbh gets even better and is always filled with passion, emotion and intensity. I have really enjoyed Mahakumbh so far and am confident that I will continue to do so especially when Gautam enters as Rudra.

    That was really sweet how Mai Mui was watching Udiya Baba and hoping for him to wake up. That was very touching when Udiya Baba woke up smiling and started chanting Dohas. I love the character of Udiya Baba. He is so kind, amazing and easy to love. I thought that was adorable how despite his state he was still cracking jokes and smiling. He is such a fun loving person. Mai Mui’s anger was justified but Udiya Baba is also right. Rudra already feels bad for Udiya Baba and if he finds out he is the cause of all this he will give up on life. I know that Cuba and his mother are very nice and friendly, but still I feel as though Shivanand is taking too many favors for them and I worried that in this all of them will be harmed. That was so cute and emotional when Mai Mui told Rudra that Udiya Baba had woken up and Rudra smiled and ran towards him. That was very heartbreaking and hard to watch our Udiya Baba in pain. His dialogue was so meaningful and the pain on his face was clearly evident in his expressions. That was so sad how he told Rudra his story about his Vishu and how he had lost Vishu in the Kumbh Mela but God had gifted him with Rudra. I was in tears watch this scene especially when Udiya Baba said, “Please forgive me Vishu and Vishu’s mom”. Poor Udiya Baba feels guilty even though he isn’t at fault. I think that is very nice and sweet of Rudra and Pt. Tiwari to look for Udiya Baba’s family as he is longing to see them and apologize. That was also a meaningful scene when Cuba told Shivanand to put the lock on the bridge and make a wish. I also pray that his wish is fulfilled and he is united with his family. I felt really bad for Cuba’s mom when she was caught by her husband and was falsely accused. But I was very proud of her for standing up for herself and beating him as that was what he deserved. But then our poor Shivanand was caught. I was proud of him for beating up all the men and I really thought he would escape until Greyerson came. And then poor Shivanand surrender so Cuba and his mom would not be harmed. Poor Udiya Baba, why does he have to speak of death. Why is he welcoming death and making us even sadder? Standing ovation for Robin Das’ flawless performance. His dialogue, actions and expressions were all phenomenal. You could also see the pain, concern and worry on Mai Mui’s face as Udiya Baba was on his death bed. Please God, don’t kill our Udiya Baba. I can’t imagine the show without him. What will happen to Rudra? What will happen to his happiness? I am glad that Rudra found Udiya Baba’s wife, but I just wish he were there with Udiya Baba in his last few moments especially because Udiya Baba was longing for him. The ending was very intense and makes me even more curious and interested for Monday’s episode. I also can’t wait for our Gautam’s entry in MahaKumbh which will be happening very soon. Overall, today’s episode was by far the best and made me cry a whole bunch. It was intense, touching and perfect.
