Madiha Maliha: Zindagi’s new show to premiere on November 25!

Indian cinema’s golden era’s director Zia Sarhadi’s granddaughter Zhalay Sarhadi to make a debut on Zindagi through Madiha Maliha alongside Urwa Tul Waqsa and Junaid Khan.

India’s latest Hindi entertainment channel Zindagi is making heads turn with its brilliant content from across the border and unique format of the shows. The channel is on a roll this month since it has aired three new shows back to back – Mastana Mahi, Badi Aapa and Aaina Dulhan Ka. And now, this month will see a perfect ending with Madiha Maliha premiering on November 25.

Madiha Maliha is a story of two sisters Madiha and Maliha, searching for love in the same man. The show is a twisted tale of both the sisters who find themselves against each other falling in love with the same man and how Maliha tries to jeopardize Madiha’s married life to win her husband. The star-cast includes several big names from the Pakistani drama industry, namely Zhalay Sarhadi, Urwa Tul Waqsa, Junaid Khan, Badar Khalil and Mansha Pasha.

Pakistani actor and model Zhalay Sarhadi, the granddaughter of veteran director Zia Sarhadi, will make her debut on Indian Television through Madiha Maliha. Zia Sarhadi, as many know, was an established director in what is widely considered the Golden Age of Indian Cinema and has has directed iconic Indian movies like Hum Log, Awaaz and Foot Path amongst the others and has written script Baiju Bawra. . Zhalay has taken this great legacy forward and earned herself a name in the field of Pakistani dramas. In Madiha Maliha, Zhalay plays the role of the older sister Madiha who is a simple girl and is committed to the values she follows.

Urwa Tul Waqsa, who has made her mark on Indian television screens with her performance in Yeh Shaadi Nahi Ho Sakti will be making a smashing comeback on Zindagi with Madiha Maliha. Urwa will be seen essaying the character of Maliha, the younger sister who is spoilt and outgoing.

With Madiha Maliha, Zindagi will also launch Pakistani actor and singer Junaid Khan on Indian Television. Junaid is a well-known singer who has won many a hearts with his music, was a part popular Pakistani band Junoon and Call. In Madiha Maliha Junaid is seen playing the role of Shehryar who is the love interest of both the sisters Madiha and Maliha.
