Madhumalti Kapoor and Purva Parag in Sony TV’s Humsafars
4 Lions Films’ teaser of their upcoming show on Sony Entertainment Television, titled Humsafars has created a lot of curiosity, especially because this happens to be the comeback project of popular actor Harshad Chopda. As reported by us, newcomer from Shimla, Shivya Pathania will play the lead role of Arzoo.
Joining the cast will be two NSD actors, Madhumalti Kapoor and Purva Parag. While the veteran actress Madhumalti will essay the role of Arzoo’s dadijaan, Purva will play Arzoo’s mother.
A source states, “Madhumalti will be the chirpiest person in the family. Even though she is the oldest, she will be the youngest in terms of her confidence level and attitude towards life. Purva will play her daughter-in-law who will be a contrast to Madhumalti’s character. She will be a vulnerable woman who would always seek inspiration from her mother-in-law to lead life and bring up her daughters.”
When contacted, Madhumalti confirmed the news stating, “Yes, I play the dadi of Arzoo, the lead girl. The lady will be very full of life and chirpy. She will be the lifeline of the house.”
Purva who was last seen in Life OK’s Rakshak told us, “Yes, I essay the character of Nausheen Khan, mother to the lead girl Arzoo. It is a very interesting character, is what I can tell you now.”
Watch the two ladies in action in Sony TV’s upcoming show, Humsafars.

August 28, 06:38From what I gathered in the promo, the lead girl is Arzoo Nausheen Khan – she has taken her mothers name which probably means that her father has deserted them or he has died – My thoughts is that her father left them….
It’s also about fashion as she works in a fashion house for an arrogant boss who is played by Harshad Chopra…
This show would probably be something like Jassi Jassi Koi Nahi but with a muslim backdrop….
