The Episode starts with the Vasant festival celebrated in Ayodhya. Everyone sings, dances and is happy. Raja Ram ke angan mein…..plays…. Ram’s brothers and Sita’s sisters sing the song and pray. Ram and Sita are seen. Everyone does their aarti. Mangal….plays… A poor lady comes to seek their help. She shows her wounds. She says I had to cross the way at night and took shelter at a sailor’s house, who has given me respect as his mum, but when I returned home, my husband had doubt in his eyes, he called me characterless and made me out of the house. She cries. Sita says your husband has given you much wounds by his doubt. Ram speaks of trust, its strength when it gets mutual. He says wife shows her trust by worshipping her husband, its a crime of the husband doubts on her loyalty.
Laxman says permit me to go and punish that husband. Ram says you can’t win trust by instilling fear, go take this lady home and explain her husband about the equity in relationships, its my command that the man apologizes to his wife and accepts his mistake. The lady thanks Ram. Ram sees Sita. She smiles. The lady praises Ram and Sita’s jodi. She goes.
Ram comes to Sita and asks her why is she worried. She asks how do you know. He says I can always read your heart. She smiles. She says I m not worried now, the lady’s husband apologized to her and accepted her, you came to give this news. He asks how do you know. She says why, just you have the talent to reach heart of life partner, I can also read your heart and face, your face shows you are hungry. He laughs. She feeds him. He says I was thinking that you should stop cooking food for me. She asks why, did his love get less. He says my love got more. He feeds her food. He says since our child is going to come in this world, you should take rest. She says Vaid ji said that too much rest isn’t good. He says I have to practice this, how will you cook food when you have to manage them, its imp, I wait for the moment when I feed my child by my hands, I will teach him and make him the string that unites us again if we ever get separated. Sita turns hearing this. He asks what happened. She smiles.
She says men forget their wives after having a child. He says no, I was just…. She says you are just talking about yourself and your child, you didn’t mention me and told about our separation, the child is getting all the attention. He says if you think my love will get divided, then I would never tell you that I love you, but I will express that my love will always be the same for you and our child.
Its morning, Ram and Sita remember each other all the time. They spend time and are seen happy. Sita takes care of a baby. Ram smiles. He surprises her. Ram goes to a temple. He sees a man treating his wife badly. He identifies its the same woman who came to take help. The man insults his wife. The lady says Ram has also stated my purity. The man says I m not Ram, he has accepted Sita, who had stayed in Raavan’s place, he has given you the status of a pure wife as well. The lady asks him not to say this about Sita. The man says we didn’t see when Sita gave Agnipariksha, did anyone see. Everyone looks on. Ram gets shocked hearing this. The man says this is Ram Rajya. The lady says if you didn’t accept me as pure by heart, why did you accept Ram’s command. The man says Ram is the king, he can’t change my thinking. Ram goes thinking and sees the men insulting the women by giving examples of Sita. He cries. Ram sits to have food and asks Sita didn’t she cook today. Sita signs no. Sita’s sisters come and say we will make something else. He says its fine, the food is really tasty. Sita says my sisters will take care of food arrangements now. Ram’s brothers fight and asks Ram to decide, who will make him wear the Patrapaan/shoes. Sita asks them to make Ram adorn his ornaments. She says I will be taking rest from now on, my Devars will be fulfilling my duties.
Sita goes out and calls out her son. Hanuman opens his eyes. The mountains begin to break down. A storm strikes. Rishi says this is Ram Yagya, we will get help from Ram, this mountain won’t shatter. Hanuman lifts the mountain and lets them continue the yagya. He flies away. He places them at a safe place. Rishi says you have saved our lives and let us complete the yagya, ask what you want. Hanuman says just bless my Lord, I will be blessed, Mata is calling me. He flies to Sita. He touches her feet and takes blessings. He says I will be seeing your coming child and going. She says you will be staying here forever now, I won’t be able to give time to Ram. He says yes, you have to manage the child. She says you have to be with Ram in my absence, promise me, you will never leave him alone. He promises. He goes to tell Rama about her command. Ram says such a cool pleasant wind… Hanuman chants his name and comes to greet him. Ram hugs him.
Hanuman says Sita asked me to stay here in Ayodhya always. Ram gets shocked and recalls Sita’s words. He rushes to Sita. He sees her and cries. Mere paas tum hi…..plays…. She serves the food to him. She adorns him with the ornaments and crown. She cries and says you have answer for everything, you have no answer for a blame, I can’t see you helpless like this. Ram says it means you knew everything. She says I read your face. He says the thinking of people are wrong. She says I have to change it, the question is posed on every woman, a woman has to protect her self esteem, I will leave Ayodhya and bear Vanvas unless Ayodhya’s thinking about women change. Ram says our child is going to come in this world. She says Rajya needs the king. He says if this crown makes me away from you and my coming child, I will sacrifice it. She stops him and reminds his promise.
She asks him to permit her, its the decision to keep her esteem, a queen has to leave her rights so that a woman gets her respect. She asks him to support her. He nods and cries. They hug.
Everyone hears the announcement from King Ram. Sita removes her ornaments. She asks her sisters to become strong. Her sisters cry. Sita says Ram’s head should never bow down. Ram’s brothers get shocked and cry. Bharat says I can’t do this sin, you may punish me. Shatrughan falls in Ram’s feet and says don’t do this with me, even an enemy can’t punish in such a way, I can’t do this. Ram says Laxman you have always fulfilled my command, you have to drop Sita to the jungle. Laxman cries and says you are the most imp person for me in this world, I will always obey you, can I ask you something, are you a helpless King, or my elder brother. Ram says when its about relations, King or commoner, both are helpless.
Laxman says I can’t believe this, you can never be helpless, you weren’t helpless when you accepted 14 years vanvaas, Sita already gave Agnipariksha, why are you helpless to send her to Vanvas/exile again, why are you listening to Praja. Ram says Praja is also like a child for King. Laxman says even Sita is your family, why are you putting your coming child in trouble. Ram refuses to answer anything. He commands Laxman to drop queen Sita to a jungle away from Ayodhya. Laxman says you have killed the Raavan, you have revived him today, Raavan couldn’t separate you two, he has won after his death, I will fulfill your command, the day your child knows about your decision, he will hate you and never believe you. He angrily leaves. Ram cries.
