“Lonavala is the best place to visit in Monsoon” – Karan Mehra
Monsoon is the season that is loved by all for its scenic beauty that is seen. But most of the time it turns out to be annoying too, as it causes hurdles in the lives of people, especially the ones who are traveling during the rainy season.
On the same we got in touch with the actor Karan Mehra who is loved as Naren in Zee TV popular show Pavitra Rishta about his monsoon love, his must visit during monsoon and much more.
Let’s have a look on what he said…
Rainy season for me is: Not very exciting as I don’t like rains.
Precautions that I take during Monsoon: I love riding but I avoid riding bike in rains as it is quite risky and next is I prefer to sit at home and enjoy the view from my balcony as going outside is irritating in the rains.
My memories related to Monsoons: Long back when I was in Delhi we had varonda (courtyard) where me and my sister used to block the water pouring in from the rains so at that time we used to make handmade boats and play in the water. This reminds me a view from the film Life of Pi.
My favorite visit during Monsoon: Lonavala Bushi Dam. I have been there last year it was just amazing, we even had bootta (corn) there so it was total fun to be there in the monsoon.
My Monsoon holiday: Lonavala again I would say, as we can actually felt that the clouds are near us while walking there, and the weather turns out to be just amazing.
Must carry things in Monsoon: Mobile Charger and extra battery as people tend to get stuck in the rains and phones play a crucial role during the monsoon. Even I have gone through this thing so mobiles are a must to be carried along during monsoon.
My monsoon music: Tip tip barsa paani from the film Mohra.
My monsoon special Khaana: Pakode with chai (tea).
My monsoon tip for the readers: Go out, get wet and after returning home first thing you should do is get a hot shower.
