Liliput, Samaira Rao, Aalika Sheikh to play interesting cameos in Life OK’s Savitri

Life OK’s Savitri (Flying Turtle Films) will soon see some interesting cameos in the wake of Savitri (Ridhi Dogra) going in search of Rahukaal’s (Krip Suri) body parts. During her journey, she will encounter many hurdles in the form of new entries.

Liliput, the veteran actor with an amazing screen presence will be one such entry who will bump into Savitri. Aalika Sheikh, Kesar of Pratigya will essay the role of Jalja, the witch who has the capability of killing people and turning them into puppets. Jalja intends to kill Savitri and this is when they have a confrontation. Jalja will narrate to Savitri the real story of Satyavaan-Savitri in the midst of which she plans to kill her.

Few more entries will be seen when Jalja tells the story. To play the role of Savitri (in the story), Samaira Rao has been roped in, who was last seen as the protagonist of Love Marriage Ya Arranged Marriage. Newcomer Mohit Setia will play Satyavaan while Abhijeet Gor will essay the role of Yamraaj.

We tried calling Samaira Rao and Aalika Sheikh, but they did not take our calls. Our efforts to get in touch with Liliput were in vain.

The actors begin shoot for their cameo roles from today (29 May 2013).

Later Samaira got in touch with us and said, “You cannot call it a cameo; it is an interesting guest appearance. I play the positive character of Savitri, in the story that someone is narrating to the real Savitri (Ridhi Dogra). In the story, Satya has been taken away by Yamraj and how Savitri gets back her husband forms the crux.”
